so usps says delivered today 6/15... what kind of communication will i have from now on? i have not received notification via email that they've received it, will that be how they communicate with me where the process is? i dont like how this works so far....

So if possible (and it is possible), it would be nice if someone on their end could accept the packages, and send out that "we received your order" email.

Anyone watch Undercover Boss? These grading companies desperately need someone to do that. I bet a few days of working there and observing can solve a few problems. Not my business, not my place to say how things should be run, but even from far away I can say they need staff there on the weekends to at least accept packages. They should be up and running double time. Have a night shift, weekend shift, and still be able to continue with the limited staff and guidelines of social distancing or whatever.

Living in a quiet neighborhood surrounded by older residents, it used to be nothing for me to stuff a box for grading, print my postage, and put it in my mailbox with the flag up for the next morning's pick up.

The last time I did that, I didn't do it at night, I put it out an hour before normal pick up. By 8pm my flag was still up, package was still there.

In 2020 I bring that package to the post office, hand it to a human, and get it scanned immediately. Updates are sent to my phone via text as soon as the label is "in the system." I've quit goofing around with the post office. They get the trust that they've earned, that is, not much. When my stuff is coming back, I'd like to think Fedex is trustworthy, but they've signed for me even before Covid was an issue.

USPS is an absolute disaster.

I overnighted on Thursday last week with insurance. Doesn't make it Friday, they attempt to deliver on Saturday and BGS is obviously not open. The tracking says available for pick up. So I think okay there is a notice and BGS might pick it. I take a look at the tracking this morning and now I am required to reschedule the delivery, but I can't reschedule it until tomorrow. No wonder they are so quick to give you a refund absolute mess

that is the date they arrived at Beckett.. The email about the process beginning came on 4/28

Once this order is received at Beckett, this will single handedly back up 5 day service to at least 30 days. That's one hell of a bill though, my goodness.
