Man the Blue Velocities are so tough to get a 10. I don't really know what the issue is I have like 20 and they all look really good to me but they won't give them 10s

It’s Optic all around too. I have had a hard time getting 10s on any optic. Will make them more valuable in the future though!

Encapsulated Luka optic contenders auto blue /99 non variation just shot up 30 percent last night ending over $3700. I thought I would’ve won it at 2700, crazy considering they’re not even playing right now.

Optic is the rare modern card that literally has everything wrong with it. Front surface marks, rear surface impressions, dinged corners, front edge wear, and bad centering.

Lets say I want to spend about 3k on Luka in the future. Help me out here which would you guys do.
A. Buy a Silver Psa 10
B. Buy a raw silver AND raw optic holo rated rookie
C. Buy a From Downtown Insert.

Tough choices man. I DO like that insert a lot and I feel like its one of the ones that will be remembered, but at the moment I dont own any of the big rookies like the silver and optic holo. Thoughts?

Go with A. Just make sure to see up close photos of the PSA 10!

Prizm is still the flagship card to own! Even though there are ton more Prizm silvers than Holos! And take it from a guy that likes the Holo RC more than the Prizm Silver! I need to get a Prizm silver to have the trifecta, base Prizm, Prizm Silver and Prizm Hyper!

It would be one thing if you could see the raw ones in person and really get a good look at them. But that's the reason grading companies are in business. What if you went with PSA 9's of those same cards? Nothing wrong with 9's man people just being super picky or got bad ocd. Honestly most of the time i can't even tell the difference. I say that and i want 10's too but really there is nothing wrong with 9's. You'll save a ton of money.

Very true! I have slowly been buying PSA 9's too as when PSA 10's go up... so do 9's if you are into selling them later on...

Look for BGS 9.5s of the silver and holo. If not, I'd roll the dice on some raw cards and grade them yourself. Most likely will come back PSA 9 will which already bump up your value.

I'd buy a PSA 9 silver with decent centering, and an RPA.

Luka not signing anything in his 2nd year *might* be an indicator of his willingness to sign tons of cards going forward. Not generating thousands of extra autos per year will drive the few in existence up

so i have this guy, bought it cheap on comc in november, but corner is obviously pretty jacked. obviously wont grade it, worth it to just hold until he hopefully is the next lebron or even giannis? or what? have to imagine some of those rare lebrons, people would pay tons even if the whole card was bent in half right?

Chronicles Luminance was a $10 card at the beginning of the month. Not So Much anymore.

Cheap Luka true RC's are going extinct.

Been wanting one of these for quite a while. I remember Khal got a steal of a deal on a true base way back. Anyone know an estimated print run on these. The pop report is super low for all True Obsidian variations.
