I am glad I got the two yesterday. Today, I was not able to add any when I was logged in on mobile. I could add but couldn't login on my PC. Some kind of cluster lolol

I'm torn because I'd like to join next year if the opportunity comes up, but unless they provide a pretty hard cap the value of the membership might dry up fast. Imagine paying for it for the access to the boxes and getting shutout. I'd be enraged.

Membership only offers you access to the 'selling window' for releases such as Bowman Sapphire, not to the products themselves.

It would be great if members had a guaranteed allocation that they could choose to buy, or not, but sadly that's not the way it currently works.

Imagine if it did, though - Topps could send a time limited link to each member giving them access to a page where they can choose, if they want, to buy up to the maximum allocation for that product.

The link could be active for, say, 12 hours, and there would be no need to sit staring at a screen bombarding the Topps site with refresh requests.

This would mean that members who are working, or are otherwise occupied, or live overseas in a different time zone (Bowman sapphire released at 4am here!), when the pre-release page goes up, do not lose their opportunity to buy.

They could do so much with it if they cared to.

Most companies would kill for the Direct to Consumer opportunities Topps has sitting in front of it.

I wanted to update the thread, as often as many complain on here, I just wanted to state that the customer service team (Minerva helped me) was able to secure me the two boxes that I couldn't originally get Tuesday due to the "swing and a miss" error. She was very helpful and did a great job. My account has been charged, and I have been invoiced for the two boxes. I can only imagine how slammed with calls they were yesterday, but she got it done for me. Great job!!!

This is a first for me.

Got it earlier this afternoon when I randomly tried to see if it would show up - which, it did, but I couldn't checkout between site crashes and probably being to slow.

I guess I hit refresh once too many times.

I think this is different from the typical "too many refresh = blocked" situation.
I haven't refreshed too many times, and I'm still blocked.
I believe they are limiting everyone to enter the website, or selecting random several people at a time to enter the website.

Yes, if there are even any memberships available.

Or, for all we know, Topps will just increase memberships each year as well as print runs.

May not be exclusive going forward, just an extra $300 to wait in line for a slightly less duration, which would take away any "value" of the club.

Customer service just called me and did the same... I had been feeling a little bitter over the whole thing, but definitely appreciate them making the situation right... they explained why it happened and how they're fixing it for future transactions. Good job, Topps.
