Print run for the silver (base) is max 50ish, but probably less based on the pop reports. I think this card has a huge potential. Congrats btw!

I really like the downtown inserts so I bought one of Luka last year. It graded psa 9. Does anyone know if this insert set is coming out in a product for 19/20?

I'd be surprised if it doesn't, the set has been running since 16-17 and many people are a fan of it. it was originally in Studio then showed up in Cornerstones the past few years, however with Cornerstones being a part of Chronicles this year they'll have to find a new set to put it in. It is weird it wasn't announced in Donruss Elite or Illusions, and I can't imagine it fitting in with Opulence, so we'll see what Panini's plans are on that

Congrats man, those pursuit diecuts are so awesome and have room to grow imo since not too many are familiar with how hard it is to get yet

Hey guys, don't do much basketball but a few months ago my walmart had 10 fatpacks of 2018-19 NBA Hoops on clearance for $2 each so I got them, pulled 2 Luka base RC and the class of 2018 insert. They look pretty good to me, are his "cheap" RC still worth grading? I've never graded anything but thought I might grade them as a long term investment

If you think they’ll gem yes it is worth it. Raw hoops base are like $30, PSA 10 $250+

I don’t think there’s a Luka card from 2018 not worth grading.

It's nothing we do it will be all him. Just imagine Luka is in year 4 or 5 and he's averaged near a 30 point triple double every year besides his rookie season. People are going to be losing their minds. Can you picture 2 or 3 more seasons statistically in a row for him like this one? I know i can and i don't even have to try real hard. It's not wishing or hoping he can do it. Because i already know he can. It's just a matter of when.

Yep all he's got to do is stay healthy knock on wood. And as hard as it is to believe i expect him to get even better. Doesn't seem possible someone could get that much better but he was only 20 for most of this season.

yeh, not many guys peak in their 2nd year.

I dont think the aggregate numbers will get THAT much better, but his efficiency will improve. One more scorer next to him will also be good. Wont help his stats but will help get the team towards contending.

Yeah i think more players will want to go to Dall soon. I'm sure they can already see the potential and that should continue to grow. Dwight Powell is an important player for them. I really hope he can come fully come back from his injury. If he can't then they need to find someone equally as good at the pick and roll. And quickly, because that's a big element of Luka's game that is missing without Powell in the lineup. They just don't have anyone else with that skill set.

Agree. Dallas has a smart front office. I trust that they'll put a good, complimentary team around him. Often when a team has a young super duper star they rush to contend immediately and make some dumb FA signings/trades in the hopes of fast tracking the progress. this invariably fails and leaves the team with some albatross contracts which hamstrings them moving forward.

You don't see them listed very often. They're pretty rare. I've looked several times myself for one and never seen them. The photo on the front is different from the preview also.
