Seems a tad low to me...I was thinking at least $800...especially being the first one listed.

Or, is this a sign that Spectra base is just not as desirable as others Panini brands with a similar print run?
Other sets are about the base. Spectra is about the RPA.

I do think we're reaching a point of over saturation of chromium releases.

Lol. A competitor is now the cheapest buy it now on eBay.
Think these will be $1500+ by Friday.

Interesting that BO is buying these for $1200 but not currently selling on their website.

While another company is selling for $1300 but not buying.

Auctions ending yesterday:

Curry /99 parallel - $50
Mitchell /99 parallel - $45
Zion /49 parallel - $690
Bol /25 RPA - $105
Little /39 RPA - $150
Little /99 Parallel - $25
Okpala /39 RPA - $90
Rui /25 RPA - $660
Windler /39 RPA - $125
Rui /99 Parallel - $85
Grant Williams /99 RPA - $45
White Silver RC - $60
Zion RPA /49 - $2750

Quick notes on this:

- It's definitively RPA driven. Even though parallels are selling better than in other years, they trail other Chrome-like products.

- The FOTL RPAs are commanding a huge premium right now. Even with nice patches, there's no way a similar Zion should go for 1/4th of what the FOTL went for.

- Haven't seen many Color Blast listed. Hopefully they put more on regular Hobby since they loaded FOTL with RPAs.

- I think these hit 1700-1800 sometime in the next 2 weeks. I still see Hobby way behind, specially with the huge premium FOTL RPAs are commanding

I don’t think anything sold out, they will just keep them off their site until after Panini sellers theirs directly tomorrow. I want to say they were something crazy like $985 for a hot second and then they dropped to the mid $800s before they were taken down. I pre-ordered a box for $450 when they first went up for sale a while back and my box is getting delivered this week. I also bought a box of Obsidian for $300 at the same time and used a $25 off code. I never thought I’d say $725 for a box of Spectra and Obsidian was a tremendous deal, but here we are.

Great deal! I'm glad they're still shipping your pre-order.

Looks like they're really taking Blez up on his offer.

My ridge wallet is ready.

So let me get this straight...I can either:

1. Take my $1500 to Laughlin casinos, hang out with the old folks for a week, party down, room and dining covered, plus gambling at "fair" odds and whatever entertainment...or

2. I can buy 4 packs of this.

The new reality is getting strange...kinda like it though...reminds me of '60s.

This is flipping sealed product to a group breaker.

If any of these dudes are buying for a personal rip, then they might as well go all the way with the latex bodysuit and embrace the inner masochist.

BO is good about that, I don’t think they’ve ever cancelled anyone’s pre-order after prices increase. At least I’m still getting some regular hobby...I’m still mad my dumb credit card got flagged for fraud when I tried to buy FOTL at the floor, and it was sold out during the 30 seconds it took me to clear that up.

Whew.
Yeah, thanks man. I forget the lambs are getting slaughtered 5% at a time.
Don't feel it 'til they receive their Kent Bazemore base for their $200.

This stuff is frontloaded with a bit more Ersan Ilyasova mojo than I'm comfortable with.

But I shall leave that dilemma to the shot callers/big ballers scooping team spots @ $90 a pop.

I love cards, I love gambling too, but I would hate to chuck $90 into a break...1 in 30 chance for Pelicans (1 in 8 for best teams ?) and then....drumroll....
Jaxson Hayes RPA. Congrats, you beat the odds!
Guess the new breed may still consider that winning though.

Brief aside: Sideshow Bob's got moderate potential.

Zion RPA /39 just sold for $7,800. Wow, that $11k sale was solid!

Now I really hope the $11.5k sale doesn’t result in a return.

To be honest, the $7.8k sale seems high too. I expect these to settle lower.

That's a hell of a sale, specially considering the Celestial sold for less than 3k. Based on those estimates, you can get approximates for each RPA version:

FOTL: 350-400
Celestial: 120-150
Interstellar: 180-230
Regular: 100-120

FOTL seems to have more than one RPA on top of the exclusive. Hobby seems to average a little bit more than 1 RPA.

Seems like the average return on FOTL should be around 750. Hobby around 450. Should be a decent buy at current prices.

The winning bid seemed solid. TBH it seems like there are a few people who doesn't mind paying 2x as long as they get the card.

I really hope that they are collectors and not flippers because if not, they are gonna have a really hard time making money out of this card.

I think my 1200-1300 valuation 2 days ago may have been soft.

Thanks uncle blez.
