If Lamar was in the NFC, I would like his Superbowl chances much more. The AFC in general is going to be tough for the next decade.

Otherwise, Lamar will be fun to watch for the next few years.

rich get richer, like how the cheifs got elaire from lsu in the draft.. it makes for damn good football and probably a rivalry between the 2 that will be like brady vs manning

all this means is price should trend up if lamar can step up and take a few games (week 3, playoffs) off of mahomes

Not really the same. The Chiefs didn't really have a starting running back. Williams is OK.

The Ravens were just the best rushing team in history. Going running back that early is a luxury. They really needed a physical, every down, intermediate receiver. Someone in the Anquan Boldin mode. They already have a deep guy in Hollywood. Their passing game got exposed in the playoffs.

Andrews is pretty good. Guys like Boyle and Hurst had a lot of their production come from the run threat.

I think a lot of their passing success as a whole came because they ran so well. Once that came off the table in the playoffs, it was a subpar unit. I don't think adding Dobbins and Duvernay changes that. But at the end of the day, it comes down to Lamar. He needs to be better if they're going to win anything.

youve obviously not watchhed duvernay in college, he plays like steve smith, nice hands and better hand eye coordination to go along wit that speed.. not jus a deep receiver

mark ingram being hurt in the playoffs led them to pick up that ohio st beast dobbins

this is all coming from a niner fan that actually made a nice it on titans ML vs ravens last yr lol.. i still see ravens winning one of the next 3 super bowls

You act like Damien Williams is some slouch... what if Ingram goes down whos behind him anywhere near the caliber of dobbins? smart move to draft a highly touted RB considering the ravens are a power running team which in turn elevates the passing game. Also Damien Williams should have probably been the Super Bowl MVP so there’s that too

When did I say that? He's a solid player. But he's not really a starter, or a guy that you want carrying the bulk of the load. It's why they drafted CEH.

The Ravens were already the best rushing team in history. League history! And Gus Edwards is very underrated. How can you not mention him?

He's so underrated you didn't even think of him! Lol.

Maybe Roman and Harbaugh did, too. For Ingram to have been banged up in the playoffs, and then to only give Edwards 3 carries, was a damn near crime. Especially after he ran for 21/130 against Pittsburgh in Wk 17.

Good point. I forgot about the print mark on Lamar...sort of analogous to the dimple on Mahomes Prizm RC.

Also in general, the surface quality on 2018 Prizm is atrocious...think that's part of the reason Mahomes 2018 Prizm base in PSA 10 is already $200 and why any of the worthwhile RCs in GEM condition should do pretty well down the road.

Amen to the bolded. A nightmare with Lamar being the worst.

Possible that gem prices have not caught up to how difficult they are.

If surface issues are so big on the 2018 Prizm what do you think a psa 10 or begs 9.5 mahomes silver would go for these days? Isn’t the print run only 150 for all silvers in 2018?

A BGS 9.5 Mahomes Silver sold for $700 last night.... Even though Probstein failed to list it as a Silver

Interesting story about the Mahomes PSA 10 Silver: The Pop is 13. I have 1. The guy I bought it off of has 5 more than he's not selling. Hard card to come across.

I woulda been pretty ticked off if that was my card and he failed to mention it’s a silver. That’s a pretty big mess up on his part. I bet a lot of people missed out who have been on the lookout for that one

I don't wanna hijack this Lamar thread with Patty, but I went on mini buying spree last year on the '18 Mahomes Silvers. Bought a Gem 10 from a seller who didn't quite realize what he had, a Mint 9 as part of a big lot of '18 Mahomes Prizms and five more raw - those came back as a 10, two 9's and two 8's. Normally I wouldn't be too thrilled with those sorts of grades, but considering the shoddy surface quality of these cards and how tough PSA has gotten recently, I consider myself very lucky...

Me too. Have a dozen 2018 Select Silvers (all three levels) at PSA that I got for $25 or less each.

There is now only 1 Lamar 2018 Prizm Silver left on eBay.

A PSA 9 that's already at $1,125.

This thing is really taking off.
