Not sure what you're meaning by this. All I know is that if I'm paying $500+ a box and this is the auto that I pull. You better believe I'm going to be furious

Yeesh no pride at all in his signature. Never thought I'd see a worse signature than Vernand Morency.

That's my problem here.
Isn't Camp aid by Panini to sign cards? If that's the case and that's what he's producing that's some pure bull#@%& and the only thing worse than he straight line "sig" is Panini actually reimbursing him for his "time".

Yep this is why it sucks. I get that for these guys signing little pieces of cardboard is exactly something most want to be doing, but you're still getting PAID to do it, so you would think there would be a little more effort. That line auto has got to be the most absurd auto ever. It's crazy that it makes Rui or RJ Barrett (who just initials stuff RJB or RB) look like MJ's auto lol

Blame Panini. I've seen worse and this the reason I don't collect autographs. I used to get team autograph balls from functions, those are the ones that they put a little effort into it. Panini could of rejected some of these, but they choose to let it go. If you are paying to sign, your company should deserve more than a scribble.

BKB players have the worst of any sports autographs.

His autograph is horrible. That said, I stopped collecting autographs(for the most part) a few years ago. Im PERFECTLY happy with the "new" refractor "fad". A 90s kid(collected during the 90s I mean), so this "new" trend makes me happy. Still sad he puts that little effort and also sad Panini accepted these signatures.

I also prefer refractors over regular autos myself, love the aesthetic side of cards. Even non-refractors that look great like the 80's synthwave vibe they put in Optic, those were some of my fav.

Dude this is so awesome it almost makes me choke up a little bit.

#@#@#@#@ Cam.

I've said this a ton here so apologies ahead of time, but I think I understand at least part of why this is happening. I teach elementary school. In grade 5 they begin cursive. They learn the letters, learn to sign their names, and that's it. They never have to write anything at length in cursive, and by the time they're in 6th grade, almost everything becomes digitized.

I'm on Long Island. Things might be different in other school districts, but in general, cursive is a thing of the past.

I personally believe that beyond signing names, cursive isn't necessary and time shouldn't be wasted on it when it could be allotted to different things. That said, I commend players like Admiral who are willing to put the time in to learn enough to come away with a fancy signature. It doesn't take long. Maybe a week at most.

It disgusts me that some of these guys have no pride in their signature and no care whatsoever for what their fans want. RJ Barrett's is garbage too. I wish Panini would make it clear in the contract that the signatures have to reach a certain threshold in quality or they wouldn't be paid. Then we'd see some change.

I also wonder if autograph prices will suffer because of this. I don't want a #@#@#@#@ing slanted line or a sloppy initial.
