The Frank Thomas is awesome, though. This may be my first two-pack. |

Been a good couple days of releases for me. Beck and Efdot are my two favorite artists of the set so far, I'm doing a Williams set, and Oldmanalan's style is really starting to grow on me

Every time Oldmanalan posts a card it feels like Day 1 around here and people are horrified or astonished.
We are always guaranteed a great discussion |

That helmet on the Rip is AWESOME!
Snap culture. Those Sports Specialties scripts were selling so hot on the 'bay that every hat company had to drop a remake in FOMO. Who has a Kings or Raiders or Dodgers one they wanna give me? Or any one at all haha. I probably sold 100 of em over the years. (L)OL for the win! Thomas is sweet though and I like how he is transitioning colors and staying in them for a bit. Like whoever said awhile back, it is so much like collage stuff I used to make. Tupac everyday, which is a sound way to approach life and gain some perspective. |

I dig the Oldmanalan Ripken with the left border mirroring the pinstripes on the pants, definitely my favorite work of his so far.

He's definitely stuck with his collage style. For me the earlier stuff, with the more obvious pieces of tape keeping the "pieces" on the card, really hit home. Reminded me of doing my inspiration "boards" before starting a project when I was still doing some art stuff (would tape some stuff to a piece of card board or poster board to get an idea of where I wanted to go).

Vides is also terrible, but i cant say thats his fault. he is an artist that turns 3D objects into 2D. Cards are already 2D

Yes! Context is important and that hasn't been mentioned in any of the posts I've seen here and elsewhere dogging the fanny.

I'm probably in a population of one this morning, but IMO today's cards are the best twofer yet.
Alan's card: Isn't he getting whacky? He's actually using two colors in his typeface. He's out there. But seriously this is one of the prettiest cards i've ever seen. Beck's card: When I doodle during meetings, my doodles are always geometric and angular. I see other people's doodles with wavy, curvy lines and circles. I really like Tyson's work. I love the billboard on acid pastiche. I'm not the biggest Ermsy fan as you all know but it might be because my doodles match up with Tyson's work and curvy doodles match up with Ermsy's work. PS: I tried new CBD oil this morning and it's really really good. |

Yes. But I'm dangerous (to myself) when high on THC. I respond so well to THC it's like acid to me. And the last time I did a gram of coke my nose bled for three days and I couldn't sleep. What I need to do is relax. Chill.
Soak up those cool Oldman colors. That grey. That peach. T Beck's card is my mind on coke. Oldman's card is my mind on CBD. These cards speak to me. |

Interesting on the geometry angle. I just lose focus on that card. The lines don't lead me anywhere, whereas with Ermsy, his lines bring me to different places each time (and always somewhere).

What brand of oil did you get? I've been experimenting with CBD gummies for chronic pain and have been considering trying a topical. |
