Boxes selling out below $175 now. Will probably go over $200 when almost everyone doesn't win the raffle.

Same here. Which is why I snagged it. He's my second favorite out of this RC class though so that factors into the mix.

Well....Acuna's three months younger than Robert and already has a 10 WAR head start on him....

I know it's asking too much from Topps, but would be nice to have the bare minimum in terms of communication on the raffle.

If I don't win the raffle, I'll just buy the few base cards I want and move on to the next product...certainly not going to pay ridiculous prices for overpriced wax.

He turns 23 Aug 3rd. People are really going nuts over his A ball stats as a 21 year old? Maybe he will be good, but I mean Trout and Harper were both in their 5th season at the same age. It just seems nuts to me. He's ancient in prospect terms, he only has about 5 years and we'll be talking about how he's exiting his prime.

Also a 30/30 MLB season not a minor league season

That was also his first above average season in the minors.....

I find it very likely Robert is a very good power hitting corner OF. Reminds me of Starling Marte. Anyone know what Marte's RCs and 1st Bowmans sell for?

You do realize 22 is young for AAA where he hit .297 with 16 home runs and a .974 ops in 47 games?

I don’t know what to tell you. The only real knock against him is that he has swing and miss in his game.

I’m not trying to pump the guy, but he’s a legit prospect. I don’t know why you guys are all down on him.

Yeah but he's got tools. Lots and lots of filthy tools. High risk, high reward. The hobby LOVES kids like this. Will likely turn out to be more Puig than Acuna but there's always a chance he'll be "it". And that's why he's priced the way he is.

Edit: I should add he's high risk for the hobby. Real baseball I think he's relatively low risk to become a solid (above average) 8 to 10 year starter.

If they don't do it today, probably won't be til Monday, seeing as they're usually closed on Fridays.

I wouldn't describe Marte as a power hitter I think Robert has way way more upside than Marte.

That's what I see too, I think Robert will be a lot like Puig, but will hit a few more homers and steal a few more bases per season...

He had some bad injuries early 2018. I think it sapped his power. Again I’m not pumping the guy. It’s just strange to me that a lot of you are so down on him.

I’m not buying at current prices which are insane

This would have been better a few years ago, but this is the first Superfractor I've ever pulled.
