The crash that happened with topps2020 was def a bigger fool concept, and once that bubble popped, it got ugly. Besides trout, all those cards were retired players. There’s no future potential. This is why the trout is the only one holding value.

So right now there is a blue prizm fastbreak /175 and a purple fastbreak /75 on PWCC auction. I know they’re not exact cards that you have but they have some similarities. This may determine if the prices are comparable even though the fast break purple only have 75 produce vs The popularity of the Mavs jersey being blue colored

Thanks for the heads up. I’ll check them out. The purple I have is /75 as well. I just can’t figure the multiplier compared to the blue /199.

I think Trae is super underrated right now compared to Luka/Zion/Ja/Tatum but I've been wanting a Luka FB or Hyper for a while and the value is about the same right now.

Mavs hopefully will move up in the standing before the playoffs start. First game is against the Rockets who sit one spot in front of them. So that one is important. Playing the Nuggets, Jazz, or Thunder would be much better than the Clippers.

In the restart let's just hope we see the Mavs who started the season out red hot and Luka as the MVP frontrunner before he sprained his ankle.

Just something I thought about and kinda wanted to hear what everyone thinks.
As we know Luka's cards have continued to go up. I currently have a few PSA 10 base rc prizm of him and my question is... it seems clear that compared to the pop count there aren't a ton listed on Ebay. Which makes sense.... as people are waiting for the season to start to potential sell as people think the price will continue to go up. Do you think there's a possibility that once the season starts and despite Luka playing extremely well can see the prices potentially even drop a little bit due to the demand still being high but the supply being heavily increased?

Most people have bought PSA 10 Prizm base with the intention of dumping during the playoffs. I think prices plummet with the incoming supply shock. I'd dump early. The exit door is open and easy to access now. It will be hard to exit when there are 3000 copies being dumped at the same time.

Astute observation, something similar happened with Mahomes Prizm’s when he won the Super Bowl. He was the MVP and prices actually dropped! I think the drop had a lot to do with a lot of those cards being brought to market at that time.

I’d say if you aren’t planning on holding that card for the long term and depending on what price you bought in at, nothing wrong with taking a profit now. You may not see a max return, but usually better to take the sure thing. Especially with a high pop base card.

Another thing I think about now when I sell is what card/cards can I buy with the money that i want more than what I’m selling or think will lead to a better return. If I can’t think of anything I usually just hold what I have. Just my .02.

Not into Football so I didn't know that was the case with Mahomes but very interesting to hear that. Yea, I think it's time I take a little bit of profit. I purchased 6 of them on average for 507.5 each. Obviously don't want to get rid of them as I want at least 2-3 of them to be holding long term but could potentially use some of the profit now for other future buys. Yea.. the population of this card worries me.
