Larry Fitzgerald Rookie Cards Ranked

What would you all say are Larry's best rookie cards ranked? I'm looking to pickup a few of his cards being an Arizona native and I'm pretty new to football. I know Contenders is most people's choice for #1. What's after that? SP? Ultimate?

Chrome should be up there. They aren't auto'd but they are very in demand. Anything low numbered as well.

Probably because you'd actually be able to buy 100 base Chrome before you found a Contenders. Pops up a few times a year, looks like 11 sales since 2016.

I have 1 auto of his but it’s not a rookie. Would love to have a Topps chrome rookie card of his like a refractor.

I've had a few base refractors and they are hard to get a 10 on. Beautiful card for sure.

I don’t even care about grading. Just to have one in the PC of players I like. I have my main guys and then just a couple of cards I want to keep forever like Peyton Chrome, Montana rookie, Etc. Mahomes silver Prizm might end up being none to keep too.

I really miss those cards but sold off all my Fitzy stuff except some IP stuff he signed for me in Flagstaff.

The bowman chrome Xfractor is nice too.

Yeah but the contenders is SP to like /50. That's why IMO it will always be the #1. Fitz stuff has dried up the past couple years because they are locked up in super collectors PC's so the lower the number, the harder it is to find these days.

Yeah I know a couple people with some really insane collections who said they would never open them up. I haven't even picked up any Larry stuff as of late myself.

I honestly don't know. My collection is more game used patches because I started buying Larry too late to find anything really cool rookie wise.

Like I said, I've bought a few refractors a couple years back when they were in the 100-125 range and I think I sold my most recent for 200 (nothing crazy obviously)

I don't really understand why for the longest time the xfactors (/279) were selling around the same price as the base refractors which leads me to believe the market was undervaluing the xfactor or more people prefer the base refractor. Right now there doesn't seem to be any of them in the 200 range on ebay anymore, but if they start to come back, I like those for lower budget. I'm not a fan of bowman chrome but I'm sure others will argue with me on that.

The topps chrome /100 sells for 500-600 (I know that isn't lower end) but with the amount of refractors and xfactors becoming more uncommon, there may be value there. Just my two cents but I know there are better people to ask.

I had no idea his Topps Chrome and SP Authentic rc's went for as much as they do! That actually makes me super happy since non-qb cards never seem to get the love they deserve

I regret Not Picking up an SP Authentic rookie when they were a few hundred bucks. On Card and low numbered /299. I do have some Fitzgerald Rookie auto's though so I am happy.
He is one of the few guys in the NFL that I have always rooted for. Amazing player and seems like an amazing person. Loyal to his team too. He will end his career in the top 5 of nearly every WR stat and this is playing much of his career with second rate QB's. Imagine if he played an entire career with Rodgers, Brady, Manning?? Rather than Leinhert, Drew Stanton, McCown, Etc. When he teamed up with Kurt Warner for those few years he was a beast and finally got some recognition, even with C Palmer he put up some big numbers.

I like your thinking! Love me some Lucky 13s. Too bad it's college uni. Have no clue how many of these actually exist due to the Fleer bankruptcy.

I have two of these. One is hand numbered /13 and the other doesn't have a serial number. I have seen a couple with stamped serial numbers /13 also. Don't worry it's no longer in the screw down I need to get a new scan.
