As of a week ago I am officially out of the Trout game after selling my last two big Trouts. Bought nearly everything in 2016-2017. All 2011 RCs. I felt it was time to cash out.

Winning MVPs 500 at bats at a time. I think the better question is why can't these other scrubs keep up with an injured dude that can't even get 500 ABs a year?

Certainly sounds GOATish to me.

Was the TG+ base 09 chrome over $20k sell the highest to date? Not sure I've ever seen a base over 20?

I have a chance to buy a 2015 Topps Trout Auto with birth year coin & Stamp /10 for $700. I’m not sure if that’s a good price or not because they’re nowhere to be found on eBay. Am I better off getting a newer /10 Auto cheaper??

That Canary is worth many, many dollars. A lot has changed since the last Update 1/1 sold.

Not a canary diamond, but I have loved the look of this card for a long time and finally pulled the trigger:

I looked on Terapeak and I couldn't find one that sold in the last year. If you're looking for cheaper low #d card. High Tek cards will go cheaper usually. Plus the /10 is red. You'd have to be one to like the acetate type cards though because that's all that High Tek's are.

That's what I was thinking when I read his post. Less then 500 at bats but none of the players were good enough or barely good enough to win the MVP. Only takes stuff like winning a triple crown to take an MVP from Trout.

Barry Bonds won 5 of his 7 MVPs with under 500 Ab's, 2 of them less then 400! (373, 390, 403, 476, 473). Maybe you should reanalyze this comment as it does nothing but show dominance vs peers who get more
opportunities not being pitched around. Aka doing more with less.

Just got off the phone with Goldin Auctions, as I'm going to sell some high end Trouts, and the guy said the Trout Superfractor is going to be in the next auction, which starts in about a week. I asked if it was Vegas Dave's, and he confirmed. Not sure if that is common knowledge... also not sure if he's just blowing smoke... but thought I'd share.

Oowiee! That’ll be interesting to watch. It was pretty well known he had it. Sucks because that guy is a massive douche but that’s life. Think it’ll break the 1.8 lebron record???

It's going to crush the LeBron. I would not be surprised to see it get $5M+.

Vegas Dave bought it for around 4x what he paid for the red. So he thinks it's worth 4x the red, which he sold for $900k... so I'd guess $3.5 million or so. It will be interesting to watch.

I'm thinking of selling a lot of my Trout collection with them. 2009 Bowman Chrome Blue Auto BGS 9, Four US175 Diamonds PSA10, and a US175 Gold BGS 9.5. Plus a few others high end Trout RCs.

I've never used them before, but their results have been pretty great lately.

Some amazing cards!
I could probably find this info out on their website but I’m lazy. Since the auction house typically adds 20% to the hammer price as their fee, does that mean you take home the full hammer price? Versus how eBay takes their 10% from the final.
