Clarkson comes in the game and immediately Utah goes down 13 after being down like 2. Color me surprised.

I love Ben Simmons! Reminds me of my friend Abayomi minus the height and athleticism.

Bron looks like he just swam 30 laps.

Are these courts air conditioned?

Lakers looking scary. AD in a different zone right now.

AD is on a mission. Most underrated player in the NBA, well not by the players, analysts, or generally anybody that knows anything about basketball, just underrated on BO forums haha.

Pels a half game behind the Blazers and Spurs thanks to a lot of help.

Kings and Suns still have a fighting chance. It's going to be a crazy ending.

I've been saying for like the past 4 years he's going to win an MVP award for each new season that starts. I think I'm gonna pick him again next year too.

The NBA really should do a bubble awards for the 8 bubble games played, just for fun. AD would be up there right now. Along with harden, Giannis, and TJ the Godd Warren.

And Gobert is supposedly the best defensive player in the NBA.

If Gobert is really the best defensive player in the NBA, and AD just dropped 42 on him... that either tells me something about AD or it tells me something about Gobert.

So I know nobody is talking about the Spurs, but how are they playing this well with ostensibly 4 guards and a big? I looked through their minutes and they have 46 minutes played by Poetl/Eubanks/Zeller, and all the rest was played by guys 6’6” and under, and Rudy Gay. None of them are particularly good shooters either. Pop’s already in the HOF but is he going to just pave his way to retirement with new styles of play and lineup combos that nobody’s thought of just as a flex?

Pop working with what's he got. You take LaMarcus out and suddenly you have Gay launching threes like Steph.

I like this group. Really nice mix of players.

Got a bit of everything. I would rather see the Pels make the Playoffs. Just a shame SA couldn't keep Kawhi happy or snag a Kd or Bron when they were up.for grabs. Would be great if Pop could have a top 5 guy again.

Dude is complete trash. Was trash in LA, especially in Cleveland. Can’t believe he’s on a roster.

LMAO at the AD pumping. Dude was a complete no show in the first two game fourth quarters, you know when you are needed. As for underrated, I'm LMAO at that too. He is consistently considered a top 5 player and many think he is top 3.

Clearly you missed what I meant by underrated, which I clarified already had you taken the time to read the whole post. He is underrated by the BO crowd. Everyone that knows basketball knows AD is a beast.

You’re right though, I should probably forget all about AD because of two fourth quarters in two games. I usually base all of my judgments/decisions off limited evidence.

AD is appropriately rated. His body of work speaks for itself... zero noteworthy achievements in terms of what drives hobby value. On his second team, no MVPs, and a single second round exit is his best playoff showing.

You’re right Boo, instead of responding with something relevant, you should probably just respond with a GIF. It’s like a BO Trollstice up in here today (it’s sad that I know that word, but after the 50th viewing of Trolls by my toddlers it sticks with you). Anyway, I need to go make some coffee, have a good one dude.

Everything relevant was already said and you still got triggered. AD is actually OVERRATED because he hasn't won anything or done anything. Let me know when he wins without Lebron. Hint, it won't happen.

Ok, now we are at least getting somewhere. Nobody would be winning anything with the squad AD had in NO. But if that’s the only standard you have for having “done anything” then you’re not the only one, I just disagree with this philosophy. You can actually be a great player on a terrible team.

LeBron and AD are the perfect combo. They both know when to let the other do the work, much like the Warriors superstars could all coexist and share the wealth. He may or may not win one without LeBron, it really depends on who the Lakers bring in. It takes teams to win championships. To not credit AD with a HUGE hand in where the Lakers are now though is to simply ignore facts.
