I think SCA said 150 for the base and 180 for the rookie revolution insert.

More or less than a galactic?
A 2019 Lava PSA 10 recently sold for about 65% of the PSA 10 Galactic price. That would be around $11.5K compared to the recent '18 BGS 9.5 Galactic that went for approx $18K. This a true Gem Mt but it's also selling from China. Guess we'll find out tonight.

I bought one maybe 2 weeks ago or so and I opted to spend $100 more than the cheapest to get a nicely centered one, vs a couple that were cheaper but definitely not centered.

Blue is cello. Black and pink are hobby.

Depends on what you are trying to accomplish. From a personal collection standpoint the Silver might be what you want. If you are "investing" and attempting to make some money then its optic PSA 10 all day.

I guess it’s a little of both. Is that just based off of pop numbers? Do you think long term the optic is still a strong card? I’m very much on the fence, any opinions are welcomed. How would the holo figure in? I know they are rare and a tough grade?

Sheesh, can't imagine what a Galactic would fetch right now. The last psa 10 did about 20K when the psa 10 were about half the current cost. Galactic arguably his most coveted base RC Parallel behind prizm gold? The Lava's are nice...I think it will end between around 15K tonight.

Silver PSA 9 is super undervalued!

Theyve stayed at $2500 while PSA 10s Silvers have gone from $6,000 to $8,500 this week!

Silver PSA 9 should be correcting itself soon! I think $4,000 is reasonable with PSA 10s now $8,500 and rising

I may be in the minority here, but if your a speaking of long-term, I would stay away from Prizm altogether unless its a numbered parallel. Way overproduced. They are extremely liquid at this point and that is what is driving their value. They are considered the "common stock" if you will, of a current player. My gut tells me that this will change over time as they are extremely over-printed and will always be easily obtainable. As we speak there are 50 prizm silvers on ebay for sale and hundreds of base cards. There are over 12,000 PSA Luka base and over 1800 silver PSA 10. If Luka turns out to be one of the best players of all time they may will hold there value for sure but other, less produced cards, will catch up and possibly overtake prizm. Compare that with the Blue Phoenix or Blue Crusade from Chronicles, not be found on ebay in a PSA 10. IMHO these will out-performed Prizm in the long run and by a long shot. I'm sure others on this board will disagree with me but this is my 2 cents.

You may be right, or may not. Problem with more scarce cards is they don't have enough transaction volume to catch momentum and start a massive upswing like we are seeing with prizm and the new joiners to the hobby. Having said that, I couldnt agree more and I'd take a Luka Immaculate RPA for 8K all day over a Prizm Silver which was buying regularly for 180.00-200.00 raw at one point.

This is true. I never bought any prizm and "missed out". But I did put my money an other cards that have increased in value at a higher rate than prizm (Courtside, blue chronicles etc.)

This isn’t the wrong sentiment but as it’s been stated, the rare stuff doesn’t sell through enough to gain traction.

People see eBay completed sales of $8K+ on a Silver, everybody raises their price, and that’s the new “going rate”.

With something that has no completed sales history (rare stuff) fewer want to take the leap of faith.

Nobody wants to be the dummy who gets caught holding the bag. As long as someone can justify that others will buy that card at “x” price, they will also be more willing to buy the card at “x” price.

Haha true - I bought Optic Holos and Select Silvers last summer instead of Prizm Silvers because of PR. In the end, they are all skyrocketing so it doesn't really matter much - but it is crazy how high the Prizm Silver is getting.
