IMHO I think ANYTHING of his is a safe purchase right now because I really think all of his stuff especially rookie items are undervalued. Just my 2 cents

I agree. As rookie cards become higher and higher it makes the second year cards more attractive.

I left out if you’re not purchasing that would be good to know as well.

Personally I feel this may be the last chance at some cards before they are too expensive or locked away.

Revolution is the way. I jumped on a ton of JJJ and Shai as Lukas Revolution stuff started to rise. They WERE bargains at the time. I’m seeing steady increases in respect for Revolution as a set even outside of Luka.

So, I’ve actually sold a couple... at my peek I had about a 15 of what I would consider mid end RCs... from Optic Holo Autos , Prizm silvers , etc. I have 7 Luka RCs left now after selling a PSA 10 Prizm Silver yesterday.

My 7 remaining RCs
- Prizm Blue /199 BGS 9.5
- Optic Holo BGS 9.5
- Optic Holo Red /99 PSA 9
- Optic Holo Choice PSA 9
- Immaculate Moments /99 Auto BGS 8.5/10
- Optic Pink Velocity /79 BGS 9
- Opulence Holo Gold Auto /10 BGS 9/10

These are all staying with me for awhile. And future purchases will be things like a second year gold refractor or a Mosaic genesis.... things along those lines of rarer inserts.

I never like selling my Lukas or some of my LeBron, etc... but to me it’s just prudent to trim some of your winners at times....and lock in unexpected profits that occurred very quickly!

My last Luka purchase was a Threads Premium Blue #/75 PSA 9. Probably the last rookie I'll ever purchase unless I consolidate or trade. Everything is just out of my price range now.

His 2018 Revolution is taking off...BGS 9.5 auction already at 500. I think that'll be next to move in a big way.

If Luka has priced any of you out, I strongly recommend taking a look at other important Revolution RCs and superstars. You will not regret it, especially if Panini expands the line to retail next year (please, please, please).

Like many, looking more at rarer second year stuff unless I decide to consolidate or swing a trade.

Last 2 purchases were a 2nd year Optic Lime Green /149 for $150 and Black Velocity /39 for $400 for my rainbow. The black velocity was an absolute steal. Noticing a lot of the replies it looks like a lot of you guys are gravitating towards 2nd year #'d cards so it will be increasingly difficult to complete my rainbow.

I'm interested to know what the rough estimate in price difference is for a PSA 10 vs a BGS 9.5 true Gem and also non true.

Anyone have a idea on that?

I’m buying sealed wax. Great return with base cards exploding and have been using COMC funds to buy Blowout credit. Sealed boxes of especially Prizm was a cheaper buy-in than going after the high end Lukas. I have specific products for specific reasons. Thus far the plans seem to be working out ok.
