Update!!!
So i have an orange Contenders optic kobe auto from lukas rc year redemption pending. I feared that i would get a pack for this card, to my surprise panini sent a replacment numbered to the same thing. Instead of the Contenders optic they sent a select in flight tye dye kobe on card auto. Kudos panini Maybe their moving in the right direction.



I will add more as they come in a little upset with the results.

I decided to try the rewards points, since some of these redemption were nearing the 10 year mark. Lesson learned don't do it.

What the hell are they basing these values off of? Points are currently .03-.04 cents a point. So a bronze og RPA is worth between $7.5-$10. This is terrible, not to mention I have many other cards that rewards request were placed on. Does anyone know if you can cancel these request? or someone to email or call. Any help would be much appreciated.

That's horrible. Are you sure that they maybe to didn't apply the "expired" rule to yours? I know all expired redemptions are 50% book in points, so that would at least make some degree of sense.

yeah, it seems like they are going to screw you on points. it wasn't going to be some crazy amount though. i would avoid points and get the replacement.

I'd be curious about this too. If not, then that's absolutely brutal. If this is the going rate, I would NEVER choose points. Did they send you a notification e-mail or did you just check and see this had happened?

I have a Kobe auto and Giannis auto that I both got after expiration (submitted in 2017). The Giannis was produced - Innovation Main Exhibit signatures. I've yet to request points because I'm holding out hope that somehow I'll be able to get it or something comparable. Nope all of the redemption's were entered well before their expiration dates. Seems like they have some other type of book they get their values from. But who knows someone could just be applying expired rule to all redemptions that are expired as of todays date.

What i scared about is the tyler herro optic silver auto I signed up for. Don't know why i did it buy def scared.

The OG was redeemed Feb 11, 2019. They sent a notification email saying that the request was now closed. I was tired of waiting for some of the cards so i choose points thinking panini would be somewhat fair on values, boy was i wrong. I too have tried the followup button and have never gotten any response for any of my redemptions. Why do they put it there if they never respond?
Also I took a screen shot of all of my pending redemptions from the old site just in case there were problems with the new site.

Holy crap that is awful on the OG Rookie jersey auto. It seems they are going through and clearing out old requests, because I had a Keita Bates-Diop Court Kings RC auto that I requested points for, and I just received a notification last night that points were added to my account. I just checked - 150. Honestly for that auto it’s probably fair, I doubt it would have been worth more than a couple bucks.

The one I’m really worried about is the 2013-14 Kevin Durant Innovation Digs & Sigs Prime Patch Auto #’d /10. I submitted it after the expiration, but this was months ago, before they started changing their policy to only offer 50% points for expired redemptions. At this point they either have the card or they don’t, so I was hoping for a nice white box 1/1 or another high dollar replacement. I might be getting my hopes up for nothing, but if they tried to give me anything less than like 7500 points I’d be pretty upset.

Panini really is the worst with their customer service though...I’ve been waiting on a Giannis Immaculate Patch Auto Red /15, which they said was ready in one of their recent redemption roundups from a couple weeks ago, and I haven’t gotten mine yet. I know some have been sent because I’ve seen them hit eBay. I’ve tried calling, emailing, and I even created a twitter account for the sole purpose of tweeting them. No response on any method of communication.

I REALLY wish they told you before hand... I don't even see how it's fair for them to offer you a choice without you having ZERO idea what you'll get in return.

Had a bunch of 2017 noir redemptions that i was given 150 points for. Lower end stuff like TLC RPA, faried /25 auto, justin patton RPA etc. Don't think its necessarily off in terms of value but after waiting multiple years on redemptions from a 500$ per box srp product I think they could do a bit better.

That's pretty bad. Panini just doing whatever they want. Why can't they make some rewards packs similar to the white sparkle packs and give them to waiting rewards customers. Hell even Fathers day packs would be better than this 150 points s#!t.

And the worst part about all of this is you cannot do what you want with the points. It's not like they're sending point cards so you can sell or redeem. You're just stuck with them.

I bought a 2015 National Treasures box a couple months ago and to my dismay I saw the redemption back--flipped it and saw Devin Booker Colossal Rookie Jersey Auto. Also have the same OG Dominion (base, not bronze) as well as a 2017-18 Vanguard Ben Wallace Auto over a year old. With the profits they have clearly been making off the recent boom in the industry, it's frustrating to see how unwilling they are to even respond to messages about cards we already spent money on/they messed up by not getting in the release in the first place. I doubt much will change soon unfortunately

Is anyone else waiting on autograph redemption cards for Charles Barkley and Patrick Ewing?

I sent a note to Panini, basically telling them, especially with these retired players that owe them autographs and the current pandemic mandating a "shelter at home" directive, that Panini, if they were smart, they'd get more aggressive in reminding these athletes of their obligations and expedite efforts to get their customers what they've been waiting for.

You'd think Panini would be smart enough to really clear their plates of all of their debt to collectors and do a push for getting as many redemption cards back as possible.

I think they're too busy producing dozens of parallel brands for the same sports and churning out thousand dollar products to care about the customers after they've taken their money 'tho.

If any company deserved to go out of business and the market collapse beneath them it's probably Panini.

Upper Deck was more admirable offering "equal to or greater than" replacements for redemptions in the past.

It seems Panini who prints money is so penny wise, pound foolish cheapskates they want to continue cheating customers and creating more animosity.

I hope there's a shift in executive management at Panini that's more customer centric with long term branding goals to restore their bad reputation.

Man, definitely glad I sold my Herro Optic Auto Redemption. It sucks - I'd love to have that card but dealing with redemption hell is the worst. I hate that this is the normal we sign up for. You either wait for months for your big hit, you sell it and force someone else to wait for it, or they trade it out for pennies on the dollar.
