In this thread there are a majority of Trump supporters who can not accept any criticism of their guy - even presented with facts, those are spun into fake news and "whataboutisms"

I don't like Biden, overwhelmingly ....

But he and Obama got us out of the mess after another republican and he can help fix the mess we are in after this republican.

All of these words because Trump pardoned a dead person. Another example that no matter what he does, people lose their minds.

Not anything done by a D (or R), but a pardon of a dead person means nothing. How does it effect your life?

Do you know how many times Obama pardoned dead people in his presidency? I HAVE NO IDEA THANK GOD! ... It doesn't matter. Go pardon as many as you want!

So just for kicks I went and looked up how many people Obama Pardoned, etc. I honestly had no clue it was that many, because guess what.... It didn't matter. I know Republicans like legislating from the minority position. This used to be a hallmark of the party. I'm convinced over the last 4 years the Democrats also like being in this position.

The minority position is the one that is more profitable, so it makes sense. Huge lobbyists to take down whatever the "establishment" is. Plus, if you're fighting the corrupt politicians in charge it makes for an easier reelection as an incumbent as you just couldn't do anything without the power.

Very few in Washington want to govern, because it's easier not to. Pathetic.

McConnell loves being the minority party, then he can really squeeze the paymasters for indulgences for that last vote or two to help Democratic legislation across the line.

With NBA & NHL Playoffs...I will not be watching any DNC or RNC. Not sure if I would regardless as I already know where my vote is and is not going.

I don't think any of the TV networks showed this, they cut right from Michelle Obama to their own analysts. Given that the conventions this year are really just an online stream, it's pretty easy for them to cut in and out.

Side note: you are not required to watch either convention this year. I will not be watching either of them going forward given that there are sports on TV and I already know who I'm voting for

Let me preface. I am not a supporter of abortion unless there are financial hardships, the baby is unhealthy, mother’s life is in danger, in cases of rape, or incest.

With that being said, generally speaking, Republican views lack social wellness programs. There are times when abortion is sought due to financial hardships or when it is a young mother. If the mother cannot have an abortion, where can she get help if social programs are stripped?

Just want to know overall, is any abortion acceptable as soon as conception occurs? If so, 1st, 2nd, 3rd trimesters?

Women who abort babies should be publicly shamed and forced to eat the aborted child. That's how my religion operates. I haven't sorted out any other details, just that part.

Shouldn't there be a separation of State and Church? It's a lot of picking and choosing....taxes...abortions....which is it?
