Building a high end receiver collection

Up until a few months ago I only collected basketball cards and more specifically LeBron James and Penny Hardaway. I've been able to obtain most of what I wanted over the years and the prices on LeBron cards I want are just insane. I was losing some of the fun.

I decided to embark on a new collecting journey to collect cards of my other sports passion...fantasy football. I've played fantasy football seriously for over a decade and I've built a company in the industry. I love fantasy football. I've enjoyed drafting many of the greats over the years and when I looked up the cards of some of these guys a few months ago I couldn't believe how cheap they were relative to unproven players in basketball.

I heard the same thing from most people... "only quarterbacks matter in cards, the other players are bad investments, etc". I thought of all my friends that play fantasy football and ran the idea by them and 3 of them are now buying cards of these players as well. I felt strongly that many other people would get the same joy from these kinds of cards that I've gotten.

I've been hyper focused on just the best of the best players and the most iconic cards of those players in high grade. It was the most fun I've had in the hobby buying cards and researching in a while.

Why collect a Larry Fitz sticker when you could have a Luka second year base?

Fantastic collection! You need a card of a Receiver from the class of 96, my personal favorite year of Wideouts.

Beautiful WR collection. Love the Julio and Megatron!
Football definitely needs more love and has a ton of room to grow.

Thanks for the heads up here. Taking care of this now and working with the seller on a return and we will communicate with PWCC and PSA. That was my favorite card in the collection so I'm quite upset to see this but I will make sure it gets handled properly.
