Most likely going to dip back to around 11,900 to reset some indicators and resume upward movement towards 13k and possibly beyond. At least that's what the odds are favoring. Hugging a tight channel right now.

Alts have been absolutely killing it. Stupid gains off previous lows these past few months.

Somethin' like a cross between Teddy Aguhob and Kaboom Mystery Packs. I got that Givenchy denim flow.

I'm mostly in the Alt coin space. Have some BTC and ETH but mostly spec in other coins currently

Ninja - David Portnoy's impact on Bitcoin. Thoughts? I think he's going to have an impact & drive up the price. He's basically turned into a real life Wallstreetbets meme. He's turned his focus to crypto, which I'm sure you're already aware of.

Minimal IMO. He is just hopping on the bandwagon now.

I pretty much drown out the slew of internet 'crypto celebs' and view them as general non factors unless you're dealing with a billionaire level tycoon with major corporate pull like Buffet or Musk.

Portnoy's another John Mcaffee...will probably lure a few randoms to dabble but it'll be a blip on the radar in the grand scheme of a 300 billion dollar market space.

He pretty much admitted he's only interested in it as a pump n' dump vehicle since the SEC isn't around to audit order books and volume profiles. Bless his soul. He's about 5 years late to the party if he really wanted those Wild, Wild West IPO/exit scam riches.

Looks like a bit more of a pullback than I anticipated. $11.6 is the biggest local support. If that doesn't hold by today's close, there's most likely going to be more blood in the streets. Fun!

lolol that's the worst part, and it's so true. These talking heads jump on the latest trending topic then scream 'I told ya so!' as soon as one of their calls hits. Also doesn't hurt that he happened to ride the wave as soon as the final halving event happened. Each time halving occurred, btc and alt coins mooned soon thereafter. Would have been much more impressed if he was ecstatic back in March.

I legit don't understand what Portnoy is doing. I get that 99% of what he does is $h*tp0sting for memes, but he bought in, sold....and is now threatening to buy back in??

DOT is dee wae.

Lot of hype on this thing. Got in (at what I believed at the time) a little late@ 30,000 satoshis, but the chart looks pretty crazy. A lot of hype about it being the next iteration of the ETH hype machine.

Been humming right along unphased by BTC price fluctuations, but it's creeping near it's all time high so there may be a pullback before possible continuation.

This is not financial advice.

Drown him out, my friend.

Those crypto hipster celebs do more harm than good if given validity. They have enough money to frivolously toss around the space like @garyvee does with sportscards, to the point where their terrible calls easily get saved by their buy advice wins (driven solely off their social media pull).

Yeah I mean I bought Ethelium at 10 giga-sushi's and then parlayed that into a group buy of 1000 tuttle-miagi's....and now I'm sitting pretty at 524,300 gigabongs. So sit tight my friends. The money is there.

The Gary V comparison....good call.

I hadn't considered that.

Dogecoin my friend. It's all about the dogecoin. If it's good enough for Elon, it's good enough for me.

I feel dirty admitting I have a small position in the doggy meme coin right now, but I do. At least from a pure technical perspective, it could make a very large move soon (God help me).

DOT did another 30% after my post yesterday before pulling back 10% today. Insane volume. Not sure where people are going to take it, but the charge couldn't look more bull.

Also really big on Swipe (SXP) long term. Binance partnership coin that offers debit card functionality using your exchange balance. Unfortunately no availability for US residents as of now.

I bought into Dogecoin early because I thought it was funny. You're talking to a guy who once unironically started a Jordan Hill PC.

Would be funny if the thing that gets me a yacht is Dogecoin. Imagine explaining Dogecoin to your family and friends?

Let's ride the Dogecoin rocket together friend.

Complete newb here...Can anyone offer a good place to start? A book or video in how to start buying crypto or anything that helped anyone start. I have a basic understanding of how it works but looking to diversify my bonds.

I'd star with youtube. There's quite a few reputable, unbiased crypto resources.

Unfortunately no real easy, shortcut way to get your feet wet. I'd start by signing up for a coinbase account. But the actual trading/transfer/conversion value stuff you'd be best to learn thoroughly before tossing money in.

Really liking the prospects of LINK, OCEAN, COTI, and the soon to be released ALBT. Still accumulating DOT as well.
