Default 98 Pinnacle Can of Cards

I'm a Braves guy and it has Andruw Jones on the front so I kept it for my PC.
Should I open, not open, or third choice? What are some good cards to expect? Poll will run for 48 hours. Thanks guys!

I always opened them from the bottom so it still looked cool to display.

Edit: If I recall correctly you could only do that first the first year they made them -- don't remember if '98 was the first or 2nd. The second year had kind of a rolled up bottom so it couldn't be opened that way.

This might be the best option. The bottom does look like it can be opened the same as the top. I definitely want to keep the can as it's a unique piece. Thanks for this!

So I see this poll is a tremendous help, 10 yes, 10 no, 2 undecided.

Is there any card worth "pulling" from it? I can't think of one so that's why I voted no

I really don't think so. I have a couple Vlad Sr. cans that I kept unopened for this very reason.

Nothing is good in the product. I opened a bunch and kept the empty cans for display. They are hiding in a closet somewhere now

Seems obvious to me then. Keep it in tact because it just looks cooler that way.

I think all the good pulls (museum collection, artist's proof, etc) are so insanely high that there's no reason to not just buy the singles you want - which are pretty cheap.

Don't open. This was actually my first case I ever opened if I recall correctly. It was neat, but a garbage product. The sealed can is much cooler than anything inside it.

Make sure they are not expired before you open them

I opened mine recently because I was bored and realized there still wasn't any value to unopened cans. Like stated above I opened the bottom of the can.

If it's a 1997 can, the Diamond Editions are the main draw parallel and are fairly well collected by the 90's crowd. The 1998 product isn't nearly as well received as the 1997 product.

I have a 1998 Gold Can of Griffey that I have not opened. The rest I opened at the bottom like everyone else. I did open a single can from the top so I could use it as a pencil holder on my desk :-)

I would open them.

In fact we recently bought over 150 and opened them.

I opened mine from top as a kid and used as a pencil/pen/marker holder

Sports cards' equivalent of "Fart in a Can."

I saw the tie was broken so I had to vote no to re-establish it.

I've got a can, not sure which year, it is intact because it is cooler as an unopened can than anything that could possibly be inside would be.

Looks like the Yes won 45-44. Will open today and let everyone know what was in it. Thanks for all the votes!
