I feel like I'm going mental watching this. This is absolute insanity.
If the base Topps is fetching around $5K, the NBA at 50 should definitely be $9,600 or more. Way fewer copies and a pretty tough grade.

Yeah, I get that, but even $5k for Topps base seems mental. Each to their own I guess.

Reflection of the market at large There's almost 10,000 PSA 10 base Luka Prizms and it's closing in on $2K.

Hey guys. Thinking of picking up a PSA 8 Apprentice Topps Finest RC refractor. This doesn’t have any peel, centering is about 60/40 and no greening.


Seller is asking for $6000, I know that sounds crazy but can’t believe a decent comparison on Ebay for pricing.


Overpriced or about fair?

Are there a lot of greening issues with 96-97 topps finest? Mostly seen it with the chrome, not as much finest but haven't followed the issue too closely.

Not as much as the Topps Chrome but most copies I’ve seen on Ebay-last 3-4
months- have the hulk issue, some more severe than others.

I bypassed the Topps Finest apprentice Refractor. Love the card but the awful centering is just an eye sore for me.

Got this instead. Eye appeal is better, in game action shot and colors are vibrant for a 20+ year refractor.

I think these are also harder to come by (Atomic version)

It looks like there's been one or two recent PSA 10s for the E-X2000 RC. I check from time to time and it was at 21 or 22 last I saw.

Edit: Pop is at 23 now.

I've been keeping track and you're right. That's the first one since early 2020, and the just the second in the last 2 years. Since I started tracking there have been 397 graded, and this is the second PSA 10.
