Default 2.5 Years for this Redemption 🤮

Got this redemption right around 17-18 Select release and entered in on 3/24/18.

Panini FedEx'd this back on 9/3/20

It's a nothing card right now and hasn't been for some time but just find it amusing that they would waste the money packaging and shipping a piece of crap like this out the door in the first place.

I did. Multiple times. Never rolled over in the pending redemption page.

Yuck. They should replace that one pretty quickly. Not sure how they let someone ship that one out.

What is it with DSJ always messing up pen types and signatures? With all his redemption struggles, I get the impression he's an absolute pain to deal with. Panini, we don't want DSJ sigs anyway. Let's solve all our problems at once and just stop putting him in auto sets.

Can not wait for the day when other companies like Topps and Upperdeck get there licenses back. It amazes me Panini can get away with the things they do.

That is what people say in Hockey and in Baseball, so it wont be any better. And those companies dont want to pay the money the NBA will. Topps is doing better with less sports.

I received an email that my Smith redemptions from 17-18 Prestige have been shipped. If you don’t mind sharing, did they send tracking info to you? I have not received that information.
Thanks,
Mickey

Default 17-18 Contenders redemption received

That looks really bad. I saw your thread earlier this week and was wondering when I would get my Dennis Smith Up & Coming Contenders autograph. Then I get my redemption today. They didn’t go fancy on my card. I got mine via the US post office. Arrived in bubble mailer and toploader. So no Fed Ex for me. I guess since your card is a jersey autograph it’s worth more and needed Fed Ex tracking.

Looks like Smith is finally getting around signing all his redemptions from various sets.

I was surprised mine was a on card auto. The 17-18 contenders up and coming insert autos that were “live” were stickers. Guess Panini asked Smith to sign on card rather than wait for him to send stickers.

My Smith autograph looks better than yours. Although still streaky. But mine was signed on a more paper surface. Your Select was signed on a glossy chrome service and more prone for the ink to partially wipe off. Doesn’t help that the way he sign# contributes to the streakiness.

Yeah like someone else mentioned Smith was a decent auto to get a few years ago. Now not so much.
