Oh well, can’t expect to sweep the Dodgers so now we’re tied. Turner made a huge difference but we’ll be getting Hosmer and Pham back soon too. Knew the Pads wouldn’t give up and almost had it vs KJ. Let getem tomorrow!

Now, now, it gets lonely over in the Dodgers thread, probably the most miserable #1 ranked team (for now) in MLB history. If they want to poke their heads in here to join the Slam Diego party once in a while, I can understand. They see Manny having so much fun and secretly want to join him.

Tough loss today, more like a pitching tryout than a playoff game. We were a bases loaded hit away from taking 1 of these last 2. Good news - Pads still have lots of upside Tatis fixes whatever it is, Hos and Pham return, Profar is a stud, Castro was a dud, and we've shown we can hit May, Jansen?. Not so good - Buehler, Turner, May all get healthy, Mookie mookies, Belly bellies, etc... I hope Tingler was taking good notes on our bullpen matchups.

Still almost certain we'll see the Doyers again in about 20 days so lots of time to rest up, tweak the machine, and get Tatis moving since we aren't going anywhere without him.

I think that once we get Hos and Pham back, we will be able to get everyone firing on all cylinders. We just won 8 in a row, then lost 2. We are guaranteed a winning season for the first time in years. We gonna be fine I think, but I'm not all in with the pitching calls Tingler makes all the time.

It will be good for Tatis to be back on the road, his slump really started on this homestand against NL West (still went 8-2). If he can fire it up again down the stretch, he'll lockup the MVP and mash us to the WS.

One week to go and Padres still with some unanswered questions going into the Playoffs. Good to see Hosmer and Pham back at it but now waiting for Clevinger's MRI to see his availability. If he can't go, do we see a rejuvenated Paddack take his spot? Hopefully, we have a MadBum type stud who's built exclusively for the Playoffs, we won't know until we get there!

How about a walkoff 3 run homer!? LET'S GOOOOOOOOO! We might be limping into the playoffs but we're GOING to the Playoffs where anything can happen. Don't know where Pitching is coming from or if the bats will be awake but we'll see when we get there!

Thanks for trying to make me feel better. I cannot remember ever being less happy about a walk off home run than I am today, though. I just feel awful for Lamet, working so hard to come back, having such a great season, and now this.
