Marlins don't deserve to be in the playoffs. As are the Astros and I'm a fan of the team. MLB screw this season up by having those ridiculous extra-innings at 2nd base. And 7 innings for double-headers which means some of these wins should be *. Regardless, I'm a fan of some team will be very disappointed in the playoffs and 1 team will exceed expectation.

With the Marlins young arms anything can happen. Alcantara may be ready to take the next step during the playoffs. It took him a bit to get going after he returned from COVID.

Marlins also won several games by filling rosters with borderline Double A guys, when the rest of the teams are playing with near full regular rosters. I’d put more blame on these teams that can’t beat a bunch of minor league pitchers and position players. The extra inning rule might have helped this clinching game but the Marlins still had more opportunities to get in, even if they didn’t win last night. Phillys still managed to choke away their game which put the Marlins Magic number at 1 and Marlins still had games to go. Marlins only had three extra inning wins this season. You might not like the rules of this season but saying they don’t deserve to be in the playoffs is something.

...AND that's why they play the games. Or should we just decide the outcomes on message boards, in polls or on PS4 before each season? Saying the Marlins don't deserve to be in the playoffs...is just silly! Should we put in the Phillies so they can choke games in the final innings? Or lets put the Nats in since they won it all last year.

Are the Marlins going to win it all? After all, they have NEVER lost a playoff series.

I’m a Yankees fan, and even I’m excited for the Marlins, despite it costing the Yankees a W last night.

Sandy Alcantara has some absolutely filthy stuff. He’ll be a menace to face for a long time.

To me, the real shocker is Lewis Brinson hitting .245!
