By no means are these my "best" Tatis cards, but they've been some of the most fun to collect. I've just really warmed to Pro Debut in the past few months - it's been my guilty COVID pleasure, I guess. Love that we get flagship designs for a couple reasons. For Tatis alone: 1) Love that we get Tatis with some of the beautiful 2018 variations. 2) Also love that we get a 2019 vertical batting pose with flagship (I also love the Update version, FWIW). 3) The affordability factor.

That is why I liked him so much for MVP. You can see the team respond to him and play better as a result. He is the face of the team and soon the league.

Dayuuuum. Where did you find those? I've been searching for Pro Debut as well and haven't seen that type of color, just the occasional green.

It's been a 6-month obsession of sorts. I cleared out COMC of pretty much anyone I PC, then set up the Ebay alerts. Even bought a couple cases of each of '18,19 and '20. Was gong to start a Pro Debut appreciation thread with some of my findings, but didn't know if there was any appetite for it. Will try to post this weekend. The only one that doesn't show up with regularity is Soto, which I guess doesn't surprise me. One orange, one green and a bunch of base I pulled...

So BO members - if you're sitting on Pro Debut color you're wanting to get rid of, I'm your guy (at least for Soto, Acuna, Tatis, Bichette, Eloy, Gleyber).

I think its a good time to auction if wanting to sell. High end buyers sometimes over-rely on recent comps and don't want to be the guy who overpays. Put up something tasty and they won't be able to resist. Just my opinion.

Not anymore...especially when a player has gone into a recent slump. It would take multiple games for people to forget the past slump as some bought during the rise and still reeling from that. Also the market has softened in the past month too...perhaps folks have spent all their extra dollars or are now diverting money back into dining, gambling on sports, what not. The dynamics have changed over the past month since the buying spree earlier this year.

Only time will tell. You must have payed a fortune for your crystal ball. Soto is by far and away the most complete hitter of the 3, but add in defense, swag, leadership, injury concern, team, etc and they look pretty equal to me at this point in there careers. Point is, nobody can say what you just said and be taken seriously...

I think Tatis is a better overall player than Soto. Acuna may equal Tatis with 5 tool capability, but I don't see Acuna having that locked-in mentality to lead a team.

Also, in the long run people don't care so much about playoff stats compared to regular season stats.

He is a better baserunner and fielder for sure, Tatis!
