Pretty crazy that Trump-sasters can now be stacked atop one another like Legos.

I'm OK with that.)

Fun fact: of all the people that started reading Atlas Shrugged, less than 10 finished it.

I can't speak on everyone, I don't know everyone. Every, single, person has a different situation.

I know a lot of people who struggled. My brother worked in IT and did a lot of work in Canada. Got a DUI so he couldn't travel to Canada. Lost his job because of it. Got caught up in the wrong crowd instead of getting his life back on track and ended up overdosing on Ambien and dying from it at 36 years old.

I worked odd jobs to make ends meet until I finally decided to get a degree. Did it all on my own. Unfortunately, been furloughed for a while but brought back this weekend to work. Pay has been cut dramatically but I am hopeful.

One brother went one way, one went the other. Life.

Nope, try again.

Why can't people be adults and just have a conversation? I understand people are different over the internet but man.

The Lee stuff kicks in at around 9 minutes and would be gross without an ongoing raging pandemic. This crowd's collective, shameless glee at the thought retaking control of women's bodies, legalizing machine guns, and cancelling the healthcare of millions while removing any protections for those with pre-existing conditions was simply too much for them to be able to keep their hands to themselves.

Honest Condolences Dega, may I recommend learning to sell insurance ?

My sister is a partner in a firm and I have recently realized at 40 that I need to reinvent myself in the work space. I previously had my own plumbing company (small just myself really ). I decided and realized that working in the field isn’t going to help my health moving forward. So I decided to ask her for an opportunity. They are all working remote so this enables me to watch my son while my wife is at work (ER nurse). It is part time data entry starting at $15 an hour. I know that’s not big money but I gives me some income and I’m not paying gas or losing anytime and money in that regard. Just something to think about as I feel insurance is growing more and more every year. Think water, electricity, and so on as far as a basic necessity in a business sense. It isn’t going anywhere and maybe their is a demand in your area.

God bless and keep being apart of the workforce where ever you are.

What people will never realize or admit is min wage jobs are not supposed to or where meant to be perm and to support a family. Like I said in my prior post I worked all of those jobs in high school and college and learned quick that I better get my sh*t together and do good in school since I didnt want to be working opening shift at MCD's for rest of my life.

It's not reasonable. Especially if the WH doesn't want that timeline known; the doctors aren't going to blurt anything about the timeline out.

It will get straightened up shortly I presume.
You find it hard to believe that he would do that? LOL!

Really doubt it would turn the core of the mindless base away. It'll be spun as a liberal conspiracy. Probably happening on social right now.

That leaves $370 a month for wants.

You shouldn't be working there forever, it's a stepping stone.
You’re forgetting car payments, phone, and internet.

Get my paycheck each friday and pay bills and extra $$ for whatever. Other people I worked with started out their and worked into management since that is what they want.
If everybody got a better job who works at Walmart? We still need Walmart workers.

Sorry what I meant was his doctors should be up there telling us this. Not Mark Meadows after the press conference off the record.

Our CEO recently told us to get raises you need to get a promotion. It is garbage because if everyone got promoted you wouldn’t have front line workers anywhere

Fair enough. But if the doctors aren't allowed to tell the truth then it's gotta come out one way or the other.

We were told in this thread you can easily live on 10 dollars an hour. It shows a massive disconnect with reality.

It was a long, slow read for me. I just checked and cliffs notes has it on their site for free. Good way to at least get a summary.

Again, this is demeaning and insulting. People need to do those jobs, and that is all done people can do. Are you saying someone working 40 hours a week shouldn’t make a living wage?

And minimum wage isn’t living wage most places. You need to start getting into the 12-15 range in a lot o places.

Need stiffer taxes on business and large corps. It will give them more money to enable raises right ?!?!

Wait, no.

Damn it...

Hillary Clinton?
She was First Lady from 1993-2001, then a Senator from New York, then Secretary of State in the Obama administration before her unsuccessful run for President in 2016.
