13 straight winning seasons. 10 Central Division Champs since 2000. Two World Series Titles (06 and 11) and two more World series losses (04 and 13)...just a terrible organization.

This right here is why it's fun to bag on Cardinal fans.

That’s the second time I’ve seen Bugs Bunny and a player mentioned in the same sentence this past week. Who is this Bunny guy?

I’m old lol. There is a great Looney Tunes cartoon where Bugs Bunny plays a baseball game against some dudes and he starts playing crazy good with tons of hits and plays each position on his own team.
Total domination

Hey I’m just 38 but knew exactly what you were talking about. Used to watch the old Looney Tunes all the time so I’ve seen the episode! I’m sure most the guys on here are familiar with what you referenced Lol

Flagship RC's still to be had under $5. Honestly I get it, he's older. But this guy can flat out rake. Maybe he has an Edgar Martinez like career.

I don’t get it. I’m not sure how a guy who is 25 is considered “older”. It seems that only applies to people baseball card stash. Has zero to do with ability to hit a baseball and become a star. This guy could go on to win batting titles, MVPs and more, yet because he is long in the tooth to most collectors he’s someone to avoid? Works for me. I will enjoy scooping his stuff up and let other prospectors put cases of Bowman Chrome and slabs of unproven minors players in their credit cards.

Being a rookie at 25 severely hampers a player’s HoF chances, the most recent example against this is Edgar Martinez he was 26 his first full season. And I think this was Randy’s age 24 season (bday is August), so next year is his age 25 season. It’ll just be tough to get all the counting stars HoF voters like to see, or generate enough career WAR the stat head HoF voters like to see.

Personally I’ll hold for a year and see what happens, I might sell the gold refractor flagship, but the ship has sailed on cheap autos.

I don't have an auto of him, but pretty happy to have this one in possession.

It doesn't necessarily have to do with HOF. It's the fact that HOF chances are included into card prices heavily. I'm not getting into the HOF debate but the simple fact is that if collectors don't see the HOF chances it deters collectors to throw cash at that player.

This more/less strictly for investors. Collectors do not care whatsoever. That being said, based off what I've seen, this kid looks like he has some future accolades coming and he's fun to watch.

I actually really like the kid and think he'll end up being a good player. Not a superstar but definitely a starter, maybe Ramon Laureano-ish. But it's 104 at bats if you include postseason. Anyone remember Mike Jacobs?

It's crazy how fast this "hobby" moves. On 9/6 I couldn't sell a TC Purple Auto for $18 or a Green Auto for $30 on Twitter. Last night I sold the Purple after listing on eBay for $150 in under 10 minutes. The green sold for $250 but I haven't been paid yet so that one's up in the air. Just thought some perspective of how fast this rise has been would be nice.

Sold my Gold and 10 base for 35 the day before he goes off in the playoffs. Was up for 3 weeks before I got an offer, lol. Hopefully I at least get a positive eBay review.

Everything sold.
Maybe I can grab some things in a few months. Probably not though the way he’s hitting.

That's what happens when you're raking in the playoffs. National attention.

alright series 1 /2020 gold sitting in my series 1 3200 count box. Nice. and 11 base.

Also have a bunch of chrome singles from being in some cheap Cardinals breaks.

I find when I want to gamble but am too lazy to research checklists, Cardinals are always a safe bets to get something.
