Hey man, that's a tough call. Can't go wrong sealed. But yeah there are multiple ways to sell/grade/give to charity. I'm going the selling route personally.

And where are you seeing that? MSRP is $60 plus tax.

The majority on ebay are $85-100 plus tax and shipping, with most of the s/h charges being overinflated.

Not exactly close to MSRP.

ebay pre-orders through fanatics (I assume fanatics account sportsmemorabilia?) are still in the void correct? I have 3 walmart ones I have to pick up tomorrow at my mailbox. already got the target one over a week ago. ebay is crickets.

Foilboards /229 are in the red hobby set.

Foilboards /264 are in the green walmart set.

The purple target set has a chrome rookie variation.

All sets, including the blue set, have the pack of 5 paper rookie variations.

Ripped 8 Target sets and 6 Walmart sets today. Two of the Target sets didn't have the RC variation pack. Anyone else run into this?

Direct from Target. It was an online order. Chromes were in there, just not the 5 card variation pack.

I have opened 53 Target sets and have not had any missing variation packs. The only issue was in my favor with an extra chrome card in one of the sets.

Saw 3 this morning.. Didn't think this was a "buy'em all" type of thing. The only reason I bought one was just because it said 1 in every 3 are parallel sets.. so I looked at the hologram numbers and they all ended in 03, 04, & 06. Went with the Six. about to rip

I'm 29 sets in and 16 more on the way. No issues on any of mine yet.

8 green sets with 5 gold star. Out of the 40 foil boards, only 4 rookie and no stars. Did manage to pull a Kyle Lewis foilboard. I’ve beaten the odds. I’m done.

On a side note, I’m only grading Robert, Lewis, Lux, Bichette and Yordan. Of the 40 I got (not variation), only 13 look gem. Of those 13, I’d guess only 8 gem these days. With the right edge and bottom back right corner, I feel like these are going to be very difficult grades. This has probably been discussed but it’s hard to keep up with this thread.

found 3 sets at Walmart today, opened them and got absolutely killed, save for getting the 1 Gold star set, killed in the sense that every single one of my /264 foilboards was a scrub, not even a fringe allstar and best rookie was michel Baez lol

then i opened the purple set i had got from Target last week, and of course.............Aquino was my chrome refractor

yes, I agree.. I only look at them when I only want one blaster to see what it looks like (ie- Big League or Archives).. I just buy the one with the number not anything like the others.

I had no idea that the Complete Sets did not all have "complete sets" listed on every card in the box. That's the only reason I didn't buy all 3. Had I known it was like a pack pulled card, I would have bought them all.. Live and learn. Foil's look nice though. noting to write home about from my pack. GL all
