The Worst PSA Failure Yet? (Another Recolored PSA 6 PWCC/Moser 1948 Leaf Jackie)

I was casually browsing PWCC's sales history of 1948 Leaf Jackie Robinson cards tonight and came across the PSA 6 below. Wondering what happened to Jackie's face, I went to look for what the card looked like before the arts and crafts session. Behold I found the same card except with "an area of surface wear to Jackie's left cheek". Not exactly sure how you can totally replace Jackie's cheek and get the card past PSA, but here we are.

Out of the 28 cards that were given numerical grades by the professionals at PSA,
ten were given extra special stickers by Mr. Brent Huigens.
I believe that he has stated that the extra special stickers were given out randomly and that the consigners were unknown to him.

You can't make this stuff up....

I have to believe that Gary and Brent were working closely together. For instance, PWCC would set up a bidding account with another auction service and Gary would do the actual bidding. Then, Gary would arrange for the winning lots to be sent to him instead of PWCC. When Gary finished molesting all the cards, they would be submitted by PWCC to PSA and there would be some type of profit sharing agreement.

I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic but that's exactly what probably happened. The few cards that were rejected by SGC were probably then sent to Beckett or sold raw with some kind of truth-defying "aw shucks" auction description.

Guys what's the big fuss about? I mean this happened back in 2015 or 2016. This kinda stuff cannot be happening any longer with PWCC. In fact I bet Brent bought back every card listed there--even the ones that came back altered in this sub that eventually graded.

For instance, PWCC would set up a bidding account with another auction service and Gary would do the actual bidding. Then, Gary would arrange for the winning lots to be sent to him instead of PWCC. When Gary finished molesting all the cards, they would be submitted by PWCC to PSA and there would be some type of profit sharing agreement.

This kinda stuff cannot be happening any longer with PWCC. In fact I bet Brent bought back every card listed there--even the ones that came back altered in this sub that eventually graded.
