Great point about how the hobby views centers. I agree that he is much better than his cards are selling for, but the card market doesn't seem to care as much.

Props to you on your efforts to pump.

Honestly, I think he'd be a perfect fit for GS and that uptempo offense. He knows his role and doesn't try and stretch the floor, is an excellent rebounder, and has a good soft touch around 5 feet.

Somethin' like a cross between Teddy Aguhob and Kaboom Mystery Packs. I got that Givenchy denim flow.

No pumping here. I do own a lot of his rookies, but I am the first to admit when a player is not good who was hyped going into it. I actually believe Ayton is an excellent player, and if he continues to put up 20/10 his entire career, could in fact be in the HOF.

Notice I did not say his cards will rise in price, however. Why? Because I understand that he may never get the hobby support.

I would agree with this. However, given how Phoenix ended the season, I don't see any major trade happening anytime soon.

"excellent" and "DeAndre Ayton" aren't two things I'd put together right now.

You're pumping.

I don't either. Odd how they began last season red hot, then fizzled. Then experienced a crazy resurgence in the bubble. Hope they can maintain some type of consistency this upcoming season.

What do you want, a "he is the BeSt BuY bUy BuY SNEAKERZZZZ" or something? Dude is an above average player in a bad market.
He hits FA in 2022 so maybe he will go somewhere. They aren't winning anything in the near future so that won't help.

Yeah unfortunately he's just painful now so I put him on ignore. So much easier that way. It's just lame post after lame post.

Phoenix just need to make the Playoffs next season to create some buzz.

I think DA could be in the LMA mould, he'll be underappreciated and underpriced his whole career.

But I feel he'll see a bump as the Suns should be exciting next season and Booker is maturing nicely.

They need to keep Baynes but a lot of teams will want him.

Damn guys. Some of you need to cut back on the snarky comments. I’m sure we could all go through your post history and pick it apart until we could slam you for a pump post. Anyway....

Ayton is solid and will be a borderline all star for most of his career. Guys here are calling him a standard big man. That he is not. It was nice to see him take 3s (and make!) during the bubble. He will always be the guy that got drafted before Luka and Trae so the comparisons will never be fair. He has quietly put up numbers in his age 20 and 21 seasons that mirror all-time greats. It’s early in his career so it’s all speculation but I’d lean more to the consistent all-star career than a role player.

Saw a tweet this morning that "the worst kept secret is that Devin Booker wants out of Phoenix". Not good...

I'm on board with the Ayton train. Look forward to see what the Suns do next season. Big man put in the work to shoot 3s, shows he wants to improve dif areas of his game.

He's fine player now since he's only been to the league for a couple years, but he's still need to work on his defense and develop more offensive skills. I think Chris Paul will help the young guys there, and if they can make to the playoff, Ayton should definitely gain more sights from the collectors and investors.

The numbers ain't pretty but time is on his side, hopefully. He needs to be way more aggressive, not sure what happened but he doesn't look the same right now, hopefully he finds his spark soon.

Dude is shooting 68% in his last 10 games and over 62% on the season. It's about time Ayton gets some respect in this forum. He has been superb for the Suns this year.

His cards are undervalued comparing to what he does on the court recently but I don't expect any major bump even Suns get a deep playoff run this year because there are many great young talents like Doncic and Zion dragging 95% of attention of hobby love.

He's just not a player people get excited about. 15 and 10 per game is boring to many. I don't think will ever be anywhere close to where they were when CP3 was signed. THAT was a big spike...no more.
