Blasters are actually much easier and cheaper to make many of the sets.

A 40 box case will yield:

5 master sets vs 1 in a hobby case
2.88 blue parallel sets vs 0.6 in hobby
1 purple parallel set vs 0.2 in hobby
23 serial #'ed parallels vs 7 in hobby
40 medallion cards vs 1.2 in hobby

The obvious downfall is much less other hits: 3 vs 12+

Only Taika I had seen before this was a gold dual, I'm a little jealous of his autos in Mandalorian. I have about 5 of his autos from Thor Ragnarok and he very clearly signed these stickers a lot better than those.

Haven't seen any, but probably not a ton, I believe Herzog hasn't popped yet either. I'm still really interested in seeing a prop relic, but starting to wonder if that was a mistake.

Haven’t seen a Pascal or prop relic either

There was a gold Herzog on eBay though

Cases are really hit or miss. Some I’ve seen had more sketches than autos and some sketches are less than usual because tight deadlines.

I think if anyone is buying cases around $1k it’s going to be hard to break even unless you get a top tier auto but those who got in around $600 would be fine or easily profit.

It’s not all bad. The hits will certainly pay for the case, these are simply things that I wish Topps could get right at some point this year!!!

Is no one else having this issue? Maybe I just had the odd case out of the bunch.

Not at $100 though with how many Trawler autos are out there and the fact it’s only 7 packs vs 24.

I haven’t looked into parallel sales though.

The one thing I’ve noticed is the sketch prices are going very high, as expected, for the child.

Heck as sketch redemption is up to $53 in bids without promise of artist or subject. Maybe people assume it’ll be a top name or super detailed because the delay?

Topps has been having collation issues all year with baseball. So this news is not overly surprising. Though that doesn't help with it's annoyance. Perhaps we'll need a trading thread for after everyone busts their cases. I'll get mine tonight, and will gladly join in to help each other finish off their sets.

Still no Pascal, triple, or prop relic.

The prop relic makes me wonder if those were packed out or not since at least one should’ve surfaced. God knows Topps likely won’t answer on it.

Sure. But also just in the FB group there’s been about 20 cases broke and no props yet.

I just wonder with all the last minute adds and stuff if that was something planned and scrapped since it’s not on the checklist.
