The “Now” in Topps Now only refers to when you have to pay them.

Pay Topps Now... receive card ... someday

They don’t ship the RTOD autos with the sets.

They started doing this for the folks that are flipping the base cards/set. They have customers waiting and they need to fulfill those orders. Toops was sending the whole set with the Auto months later and those orders were being canceled on ebay... That was the complaint before, that people wanted at least the base set so they can take care of waiting and potentially impatient customers. This (receiving the Auto later) has never been a problem for me. Topps is trying pretty hard to accommodate the needs of everyone so you got to give them credit for listening and working with folks.

More truth. People were pissed base cards took so long to receive because they were sent with autos. So Topps did it this way and I think less complaining has taken place.

I’ll say it is a good sign I see a lot of people perplexed by this...new buyers is a good thing...but it sucks that they have to find out the hard way how Topps does their thing...logistics for getting autos just isn’t so simple. But it’s sure as hell better getting on card autos than stickers.

I’m glad when Topps started sending the sets now and autos later. Out of dozens of sets I’ve never had a problem getting the auto and I’m willing to wait for on card autos compared to Topps switching to stickers any day!

Totally agree. Sticker autos would fix the delays but I want none of that. I dont plan on selling the autos (or if i do, not any time soon) so waiting has never bothered me. Its a nice little off season surprise when they come in. When i open em up, im typically like "oh yea, I forgot about these"

Flippers probably have a different point of view but I'm with you...every auto received is like a Christmas present.

Sorry if already asked but I am seeing Topps Now parallel cards numbered to like 10 and 25 and 49. Is this a new thing or done with certain cards or random ????

From the description of any Topps Now regular season single PR card:

Every Summer Camp card had /10, /5 and /1.

RTOD sets had several star/rookie cards depending on how well each individual team set sold that would have /49 and better. I think some of the very low PR sets didn’t even have /49’s.

Curiously, post season sets got nada but the World Champions Dodgers sets will have parallels.

Anyone else notice that the Mookie Betts - MLB TOPPS NOW® Card OS-15 is the same exact image as Mookie Betts - MLB TOPPS NOW® Card 447? Other than the Topps Now Logo being behind the bat on Card 447 and in front of the bat on Card OS-15 it is the same card. Card OS-15 does seem to be cropped slightly more right with bat more in corner but otherwise same exact image. I checked the Machado and Freeman cards and they are not duplicates. Wondering if this has happened in Topps Now before that anyone has noticed?
