Hello i have not reviewed many of my cards in 25 years. I have used card savers back then. I wanted to know if they need to be replaced with new ones. I am sending away some for grading, and others for non grading selling.
I ask this question becuase i know some types of plastic do go bad. What is the general consensus on old card saver 1s. do they need to be replaced? Thanks -Can hockey |

If they are brittle or yellowed, toss ‘em. I don’t believe Card Saver brand card savers ever contained PVC, so you should be good.

Does that apply to their old stuff too? manufacturing methods of all sorts of products do change over time. I cant speak for card saver.
If it is archival then great. on a related note, how can i tell if old "penny sleeves" have gone bad. is it the same, yellowing or is there some other chemical reaction going on to look for. |
