I would venture to say yes... after looking at his recent sales, since he sold a durant for $2,000 and has actually received feedback for it... then you would assume he isn't just having someone hit the BIN to "attempt to inflate prices". So, there you go. I'd give it 10-15 days and check back for feedback.

Fake why would you pay $8500 for that when you could have gotten this for cheaper

once again, the seller is gus_hansen2008, one of attyball's other accounts he uses to sell. I wouldn't put too much stock in it. as tristan said, why buy this one for 1K more from a seller in the Philippines when you can get one for at least 1K less from a reputable domestic seller? seems odd.

Not sure if that is real or not but I bought the one for $2000 and it was a pretty smooth transaction if that means anything.

This is something I'll never understand.

There have been many times when I've looked up completed auctions of rarer cards and see that they go BIN for $10-100 more then what I have mine listed for in my eBay store. And all my listing are BIN/BO! Crazy...

Lots of times losers hit BINS and never pay up. My guess is we will see this soon relisted.

Seller is from Philippines, I've come to the conclusion that 95% of all sellers from Philippines, China, and Indonesia are shillers, scammers, or selling counterfeit items, so fake sale.

It's a nice looking RPA, but I'm fairly skeptical of that alleged sale.

It's a bit unfair to say 95% of asian dealers are scammers ...

The percentages are for sure "unfair". But the fact that a lot of shillers, scammers, and people that make fake cards over there is a 100% "fair" to say!

I never understood that...why would the seller be the scammer? Would he relist it later saying it sold for that much in the past?

Yes, it's a way to artificially inflate the future SV of those cards, so when he (or his accomplice) relist the card, prospective buyers will see a completed sale @$8,500 in the completed listings and use it as a benchmark (or so the scammer would hope).

Looks like a lot of people are learning the scam from seeing all the Jordan 90's inserts selling for 15K and figured, why not my Durant...

The Durant is relisted @ $8,500.00. Looks like the sale didn't go through.
