Not sure how many times this needs to be explained. Trump was organizing these super spreader events and often times had very little precaution being taken. He had the power to either not hold his rallies, or hold rallies with reasonable precautions at the very least. I mean even at the white house they were taking no precautions. He treated the virus like it doesn't exist. As the president he is held to the highest standard.

Biden has 2 years to get things done. He does not do much in 2 years his own party will kick him to the curb and put Harris in his place. Also if he does not deliver in 2 years the GOP I think will take a majority control in both the house and senate leaving him or Harris no power to do anything in the last 2 years. So for the sake of the country I hope he does well because if the economy does poor that means my 401K does poor and I dont want that.

Im just talking about the hypocrisy of it all. The protests, these celebrations are ok, but when the other side did anything it was wrong and a super spreader. Hypocrisy...

Today gas is $1.79/gallon.
Mortgage interest 2.75%.
Posting this for it to pop up in my memories.

I say if this thread gets locked it gets opened back up for a day for the next 4 years.
As an American I'd hope the first anniversary those numbers are even better, covid is extinguished, peace is fully achieved around the world and the climate change problem completely solved. Really I do want what's best for our country and maybe Biden's the man to get it done.
With all of that out of the way I think some of you are being a tad disingenuous if you think a Biden presidency is the end all.
Quite honestly, I think we're in for one hell of a scary 4 year ride.

Your 401k could seem to be doing awesome, but the 20% gains might really be offset by the devaluation of our currency after Biden prints up a ton more money.

How can his party kick him to the curb? He decides if/when to step down, not his party. I think regardless how the first 2 years go I think he tries to stay for the full 4 year term. Only exception I feel would be if he were to get too sick and feels he can't perform his duties as president.
