Speaking of which, does Topps not have Cronenworth signed? I notice that his card wasn't one of the finalist cards (not that I saw). So does that mean he won't receive an All-Star Rookie card?

Agreed, but team set collectors would buy. I bet Ross would probably outsell Mattingly...there are a lot of Cubs collectors in Topps Now.

Just FYI, on the Montgomery issues: We are aware of the situation with members not being able to renew their membership. We are in the process of rectifying the issue. Those members who didn't get the chance to renew will have another opportunity on Monday.

So I got 4 sets of Players Choice Today and even though 40+% should be parallels. I received zero....not a one. Another guy in the Facebook group got one /49 Freeman so they do exist so my thought is I have to be the most unlucky person...I mean the odds are astronomically against this happening (unless on purpose).

Just an update on the Player's Choice. Another guy on the Facebook page bought 4 total and got zero parallels. The odds of that happening on a 219 PR is below zero. Something is amiss with this set and the parallels. Only Freeman /49's have surfaced so far one on eBay and one on Facebook. Of the 11 sets talked about on my Facebook page only the guy who bought 3 sets got a parallel.
Odds should be that 4 of every 10 should have been a parallel in each of the 219 sets...

I originally thought that the print run was wrong and was 2190 but Topps verified that the 219 is correct.

Only theory I have right now is that the Freeman was the only card Parallels were made of, it would explain the distribution being what it is currently.

I was going to buy the Kyle Lewis "finalist" predictor ROY card a few days ago and grab a 10 pack to price optimize, but it seems his non-auto/non-RC cards don't sell well. I was thinking I'd get that card, then get that bonus ROY card they tout giving to the winner and then buy this official ROY card, to have a trio set, but it just felt like I'd be holding 'em for little profit margin.

As a fan, I'd buy any relic or auto commemorating the ROY award, but I'm trying to to buy too many random cards for my PC which seems to get out of control if I buy everything I like or that looks good, so try to limit it.

Bought a 5 pack of card 468 (the play at the plate from the WS) and hit a purple parallel, 24/25. Wasn't rooting for either team but loved the photo as it captured the moment so perfectly.

As for today's cards, I went in for a 10 pack hoping to hit a parallel! Honestly if it wasn't for the parallel chase I would have only bought a couple. Either way, I am happy there is something to celebrate for the Mariners

Oddly, from the Topps Now WS set, I ordered cards on different order transactions, so I received Card 477 Arozarena as well as 483 Seager

478, 479, 480, 481, and 482 from that same series set didn't come (yet) and it's been about a week.

Is that odd? I get a lot of "Your Order has Shipped" notifications and the delivery date varies from a few days to over a week, and they sometimes use USPS and sometimes FedEx, it seems to vary as well. None of the carriers capture a signature and leave parcels unattended, which always makes me wary of porch piracy, mis-deliveries or embezzlement (employee theft, have 5 packages to deliver, deliver 3 and keep 2 type antics)

On the "good news" front, I did get my WS GAME 1 cards and out of the 10 cards of each of the 5 cards in the set, I managed to get 5 of the limited edition cards (# to 25 and 50), which was a first for me, as I've never ever gotten any of the #'ed ltd ed variants from Topps Now.

It kinda screws up my complete sets of the general cards to eventually resell, so I might have to buy a complete set off eBay to replace the cards where I only have the #'ed versions. It's a good problem to have of course

As for the ltd ed cards, I'm tempted to go after a parallel set for my PC, but not sure what they sell for. I've looked in the past and it feels like the # to 49 and 25 cards can go for as little as $10-15 each, not a whole lot when you figure the standard card as a single sold from Topps for $10 each and in bulk I think mine costs about $5 per card on avg.

Or, send them to PSA and hope that the value is still maintained after 6 months of grading period...
I remember selling one for like $50 about 2-3 months ago.
