A New York Times opinion article today quoted Justice Gorsuch in relation to the NYC church restriction ruling.

I think this highlights our current trap and how different we all are in assigning risk or value or hate.

Justice Gorsuch can compare shopping and church gatherings as equal risk, while I view one as high and the other as low. You can call the hate of the last four years an equal partisan game. I view the scales tipped a different way. That doesn't mean only one side is at fault of hate or one activity is void of risk.
I think they are equal risk. You may view them as different, but I think they are the same. You likely just thinking is worth the risk while you think the other isn't. Similar to some thinking that going to a rally is worth the risk, while others think protesting is worth the risk.

Someone can’t decide whether or not they listen to leaders during a pandemic.

Still a lot of people. And we'll never know how many deaths would've happened if we had done less.

Perhaps these lockdowns are silly. Idk. We don't have them here, though for a short time some businesses were harassed. I really can't personally say, as I am not an infectious disease physician.

I've reached a point now where I don't really care what people do or don't do. I don't have to worry about catching Covid anymore. Lockdowns, masks, business closures don't affect me or my family financially. I suppose there's no reason for me to care anymore. You guys do what you want, lol. Ignore lockdown orders (like most did here during our short partial attempted closures), wear or don't wear masks, it's not going to affect me one bit. I don't live in your city (I don't think) anyway.

I feel like the right thing to do is to prioritize public safety over pretty much everything. But if you feel differently, it's not my health or finances you are risking. You all are free to make your own decisions and live with whatever consequences come to you, medically, financially, legally.

I'm inclined to weight doctor's opinions heavily in this case. If you're not, don't. I can't stop you and even if I could, I wouldn't.

From your article:

Quote:
The county clerk, a Republican, corrected the error, saying it was the result of human error, according to the Free Press. Election officials have said the Dominion vote tabulation machines operated properly.

In other contested states, recounts have found no evidence of problems with the machines or their software.

Ok, so what happens if it shows something? What happens if it shows nothing?

Show me 6,000 switched votes...we have a problem. Show me 600...still a problem. Even negligible amounts that were altered nefariously would be an issue.

Now, if it shows nothing...what will the response be? "Rigged!!!"

Much like everything else, if there is evidence, absolutely let's see it. We've seen nothing at all yet other than thin affidavits by people that don't seem to have a lot of credibility.

It was only looking at a ballot initiative race about marijuana. They are just looking for one error to say “see!”

No spin from me. I think the review of the machines is a good thing. Maybe they reveal that XXX amount of votes switched to Trump. End of story.

Rudy Giuliani getting COVID is probably the least shocking thing I saw today, I'm surprised he hadn't already gotten it.

It will be the same ole excuses. I mean we’ve already had “the normal amount of dead people voted this year” it’s fine, everything is fine. Again, trump is doing all of this to expose the problems with our voting system. Republicans will remember and learn from it and democrats will keep their heads in the sand and go about their reality, typical.

I'm pretty sure the election is over, the votes have been counted, and all relevant legal challenges have been adjudicated.

A few clowns repeatedly throwing balls of crap against a wall doesn't change that. Nothing has stuck. Nothing is going to stick. It's just balls of crap, just like the last volley, just like the next volley will be.

The EC will convene soon. More balls of crap will be hurled against walls, nothing will stick, judges will use the word "c'mon".

The outcome is certain. It is decided. It's over.

You still have sand in your eyes. Until SCOTUS says its over, its not.

No elected lower court judge is going to stick their neck out there with so much controversy.

If SCOTUS even lowers themselves far enough to hear this nonsense, it will be 9-0 guaranteed.

It's over. Seriously, this is not a jab, it's not a joke. It's over.

That's not how it works......

When did SCOTUS say Trump won in 2016?
