I may have missed this being addressed earlier. Does anyone know why are there no Koufax prints available?

Congrats! That's a really sweet card too, one of my favorite Ichiros.

Re: Joshua Vides, neither grabs me. I also think it will be tough for the Keith Shore Ryan to top the Strawberry card.
For Gooden vs Ryan:

Vides Gooden: Clouds are what separate good Vides from great Vides
JK5 Gooden: Gooden is so mystical, like a witch doctor summoning the gooden all of us. And, teal gets the emphasis that it deserves, while it's just part of the color soup on the Ryan card.
Blake: Gooden's face has too much excitement, while the Ryan is so clean. I also like the white uni against the orange background
Siff Ryan: Let me look at it again... No, I was right before, this is still a time capsule in the palm of my hand, a cardboard fountain of eternal youth. Hard for Siff Gooden to top pure joy.

JK5 Gooden is an underrated card. Having it in hand, I was really impressed compared to what I initially thought on screen. And I definitely get strong Native American vibes from the card; it takes me somewhere.

Got my Siff World Series cards in yesterday. They are nice in person, really like the foil on the LAD card. I was surprised they came in Project 2020 boxes. Topps order too many?

Mine have not been coming in P2020 boxes. Just bubble wrap. I'm still waiting on the Foil LAD card though.

I actually don't even own it yet! One day. I do have JK5's Jackie card. That has a different energy in-hand than on the screen.

That Jackie is a contrast to Siff's Clemente card: JK5 doesn't separate the words from the rest of the art, even if it makes the quotes (almost) impossible to read. I like this approach. It makes the words feel more alive and less of a monument, and forces me to read more about Jackie to dig up the full original quotes.

Plus, it looks cooler.

Weird.

Anyone know of a Koufax contract with another company that would allow cards but not framed art prints?

With no Vides and no Koufax there will be 361 framed artist prints in the full set.

Still tough to display as a full set, but a little easier than 400 framed artist prints.

It’s just displaying $86,638 (assuming bought all 361 prints @ 40% off) instead of $95,998 for 400 prints. Personally, if the collection isn’t over $100k, it’s not worth showing off 🤣🤣🤣

That's a useful guideline, I agree, but I don't treat it as a hard-and-fast rule.

The Efdot Koufax is cool. Takes me back to his McGwire. Sketched the card image rather than what he has been doing on a lot of the recent ones.
