Clone Wars has taken a while with her, we are finally to season 6, and I held off watching season 7 since I was rewatching it with her. The only show/movie she hasn’t watched is Episode III cause I still think it’s too dark for her (can’t answer the “what happened to the younglings” question I know I’ll get. Oh and the Christmas special haha.

The lightsaber will be from Ahsoka delivered by Santa, obviously.

We were supposed to be in Disney this past week, building our own lightsabers with our daughter (who’s 5), but we cancelled the trip. I’m also running through all of the animated Star Wars series with my daughter and we just got through the Clone Wars episode where the younglings find their kyber crystals and build their lightsabers. My daughter was so sad. I couldn’t handle it, so I immediately found someone on EBay who builds them for you at Savi’s Workshop in Disney and ships them. Christmas is saved! Can’t hide money! To be honest, I’m kind of jealous she’ll have one and I won’t haha.
C'mon who doesn't like a dad saves Christmas story! Disney and SW fan here lol. Hope you make it there next year and get the full on Disney magic.

As someone who is mostly just collecting the Williams run, I'm a bit bummed that he is the first person (artist or player) to 20. Didn't think we'd be seeing his final 3 cards in a 26 card span. Was hoping he would at least be in the final 20 cards, but oh well. No biggie

I personally think they should have been mindful of balancing the finish to get every player and artist set to reach completion during the last week.

Topps dropped the ball here.

I agree. Would've preferred to not have 3 Koufax's and 4 Don C's in the final 10 drop days.

NICE - except the cancelled trip part - my amazing senior accountant went to Disneyworld for her birthday this past week.... she is probably 30. Appears she had a great time.

My two kids have VERY recently gone all in on Star Wars shows, movies cartoons, etc. It's been on all day at the home office (which is in the kitchen bordering the living room). Fun guessing which Mandalorian scenes will be picked for Topps Now. Honestly for me the "failing new york times" recaps have got me more into the Mandalorian than I ever would have been. Not a big enough star wars nerd to catch all the references.... but so great to see my 4 year old enjoy Empire Strikes Back as much as, and for the same reasons I remember loving it 35 years ago.

again, i have no issues with Matt, he's a valued member here, but to think its all out of the goodness of his heart is foolish (IMO)
You darn right I’m going to keep one for myself, for my personal collection. I’m not keeping any to sell. Not one. If people don’t want me to keep one from all the extras I buy for myself, they don’t have to buy from me. I’ve been honest and upfront with exactly how I’m handling the Foils.

I actually think you do in fact have issues with me. You’ve made snide comments on occasion concerning the On Demand products I buy from Topps or volume thereof. I have no idea why you care.

Why can’t what I have created and am offering to P2020 collectors be out of kindness towards fellow hobbyists? Do you think this world is so dark that there are no good guys left?

Nobody buying through me is a fool. Nor are they foolish. They’re not foolish for thinking I’m doing this out of kindness either. Nobody offers what I do. Others have tried. One in particular all but copied my site, (minus the rewards of course), and still folded within weeks. I do this to help others out. If you don’t believe that, it’s on you.

That is so awesome! I’ve dreamed about taking my kids to Disney in December, but I just haven’t been able to yet.

As others have said, you’re a great dad. Kids are our greatest treasure. Enjoy yours as they grow up way too fast.

Happy to see the conversation still flowing here. Here's where I'm at with P2020.

My Koufax is out today. I tried to make it feel like a postcard from Brooklyn 1955... Thomas is the last one in my set... Still waiting to see those Donnie foil cards in person.

The real question is... who's ready for Bloberto and Blob of Steal? (Joking, but also not joking. My next 2 companion cards are dropping tomorrow & friday in my shop.)

Commissioned Ashoka for my sons birthday. Happy to see her appear in Mandalorian.

Sorry for the the deviation....

Appreciate the kind words Matt. And everyone else who has chimed in on the post, truly.

We were fortunate enough to go the same time 2 years ago. Definitely so much fun. Fingers crossed we’ll have the time to do it next year before it becomes too difficult work and school wise. If you do make your way, the two weeks after Thanksgiving are great. Crowds aren’t too bad, kind of the lull between holidays, but all the decorations are up.

I imagine for some, the battle to crawl out of the hole of TP2020 will be similar to Boba Fett's journey out of the Sarlacc pit.

Some won't make it and will fester inside as they are slowly digested for decades (me).

HA! I would not have understood much of this until.... yesterday, even though I myself witnessed Boba's unfortunate demise some 32 years ago after some bumbling droid made a false move.

Just use that new chain as a grappling hook of sorts

I could use it to get out of a sneaker boi fest for sure....just chuck it aside and sneak off during the ensuing melee.

These two cards are very nice!

I’m thankful for your Patreon group allowing us early sneak peaks and buying opportunities. They have both been added to my collection as of about an hour ago or so. Thanks again!
