Were there individual cards sold between when the offer was made and when it was accepted? I'm just hypothesizing here until the port sale experts chime in.

Maybe a dumb question: is there any way to pay for a shipment request with credit card instead of COMC credit?

No, but I did add prices to new cards that just posted that were not in the initial port. Didn't think that would effect anything but I wouldn't be surprised in the least.

Just kinda bummed because I received another offer while that accepted offer was pending it was automatically rejected and now that that first offer is not going through, there is no way to get the other offer back.

Does anyone know how long it takes for comc to start (not complete)processing your cards after it shows delivered?

Also, how do I set up notifications to be noticed when a card of my favorite player is listed for sale by someone? Thanks

It depends on your service level but don't expect anything right away.

1) Depends on service level. Can be anywhere from days (for Elite) to weeks or months.
2) You would have to write some code yourself or bookmark the search, and go back to it. Functionality doesn't exist on the site. You may be able to use the RSS feed once you do a search by player and sort to Recently Added, but I've never tried myself.

I don't see any option other than store credit. So you'll have to load some.

Here's my latest COMC CS interaction.

I email them to let them know yesterday that they processed 32 of someone else's cards into my account (Project 2020 stuff) and charged me for them. They didn't respond yesterday so I replied again today with URGENT - Blah Blah Blah. They respond letting me know the processing team will take care of that and my message has been forwarded.

I checked a while later and the cards were gone...but no refund for the fees. So, I email them again letting them know. The CS reply was basically...we see the cards have been removed and have initiated a refund that could take 2 business days to get to your account.

You gotta be kidding me that this would be their policy. They made a mistake and charged me for it...and now they are going to refund me whenever they get around to it.

If I was going to do a port sale, it’s just the cards listed for sale at the time correct? I’ve bought a bunch recently but I’m planning on shipping those at some point. I’m just trying to decide if I really want to sell the last little bit that way or not. I’m still selling a card or two every day but I don’t want to keep messing with the prices all the time. I’d like to just ship the ones I’ve bought home and take a cash out for the little bit I have left bc I can’t find anything to buy anymore.

Port sale is just the cards listed for sale. You can mark some Not For Sale if you don't want them included. Also you can filter by sport and I think decade, if that's relevant.

With the number of cards in your port it might be worthwhile to do progressively larger sales - 50% off, 60% off, and so on until it's all gone or someone offers you something for the whole port.

Yep. July 26 request. They supposedly started packing it out last month. It's been a few weeks since I got that notice.

Cool thanks. I may do that. I figured with the sale losing 5% on each cards original price it’d be cheaper to just sell the whole thing but you might be right. Going through them last night it seemed I was already the cheapest on almost all and ones that I wasn’t I bumped down to be but I didn’t get to check them all.

If you don't need immediate funds - progressive sales are the best option and will net you way more than a port sale. Most ports sell for a fraction of their worth (for good reason) so if you want to maximize what you get start at a percentage and increase as you go.

Messed up man...btw who is still waiting for basic submissions that had a due date in April? My April and May subs are showing due dates in January 2021. Just kicking the can down the road.

New to COMC are the submission times 1 week 3 week from the date they receive the cards in the mail or are they like BGS do they hold them for 3 months before the 1 or 3 weeks dates start... Just wondering I sent in 5 shipments 1 Was Elite 1 was 1 week and 3 were the 3 week service, just wondering about when they should start trickling in. I am not in a rush just more curious as I want to send more stuff in.

COMC email team vs COMC twitter team telling me two different things. How can a CS department be so disorganized? Should be one on-the-same-page message.

The clock starts when they open the package and acknowledge it. With my last batch that took about a week. But that was back in March.

Sure this has already been asked, but how do I turn off my email notifications on incoming offers?

I don't think you can. You can probably create a rule in your email program to direct ones with the phrase "sent you an offer" to a certain folder or trash.
