about 23 months ago now, it must have been, a friend and i were discussing 2018 Update Retail odds
in our discussions, between us we had on hand: Hobby, Jumbo, Blaster, Fat Pack, Hanger Box Odds, but neither of us had the regular retail odds (the 24ct box) so, i bit the bullet and bought one for ~$35 delivered. You know, in the name of research ![]() ![]() ![]() Good Times indeed! i know its no longer factory sealed, but im ok with that ![]()

Last PSA 10 did $3500. $1700 seems pretty good barring any significant damage.

^Agree.
HMT55 refractor /250 is the (licensed) equivalent of Soto's "Silver Prizm", and it's limited to 250 numbered copies. Total print run of serial numbered HMT55 refractors--including the non-autos and the sticker autos in all the colors--is 631. The modern baseball market (outside of Trout) is not nearly as insane as the basketball market on the high end, where numbered Luka Prizm parallels are pulling tens of thousands of dollars. But this is a tiny print run for desirable Chrome RC parallels of baseball's best young hitter. There aren't many of these available at any given time. So I think this number is totally reasonable for a raw copy (presuming it's Nrmt-Mt). Just my opinion, and I will candidly reveal it's a little biased, as I have a little stash of HMT55 numbered refractors. But I'm not a seller at that price, if that's an indication. |

I sold a HMT55 refractor raw for $163 in July 2019. I sold two more for a little more earlier that year
That may end up going up there with my gold heritage refractor going for $850. |

I almost bought the refractor /250 last year, but got a really good deal (at the time) for this. I think I paid $1150 for it:

I bought a refractor and xfractor lot both PSA 10 for $2100 last year on the forum. I sold the xfractor for $3300 in June to a local guy. Still have the refractor but wish I didn’t sell the xfractor

As much as my usual response would be “what??!” The reality is this is just Soto coming in line with the other big young stars in the sport. The fact that he has far less cards available just underlines the thought of “what took so long?” The TU and TCU stuff for Soto is on at level above everyone else because there is really no debate as to his best cards. If he proves to be Pujols like in his production these things literally have an unlimited trajectory. Congrats to all you guys who got on board before the most recent thrusters we’re engaged!

So which is mor valuable. Just say you have two of the same rookie auto Soto. 1 is PSA 9 (no auto grade) or BGS 9.5 with 9 auto?

Now, if the BGS 9.5 is a true gem then I obviously choose that one, crack it out, and send it in to PSA and see if it 10s. Arthur |

That PSA 8 Black is so tempting. I feel like the owner raised the price in the last few days..
