Was able to get Megas this morning and had phone and laptop out and ready for another drop - got the alert for blasters and was able to cart 3, but couldn’t checkout. Removed them and added 1 - couldn’t checkout. Removed it and tried a quantity of 2, couldn’t check out. Switched to the laptop and was able to add 2.

I too have resorted to buying on the secondary. So far:
63 Blasters - at an average of $52 (opened 22 with about even money in resale potential)
4 Hangers - at an average of $33

At least you got some really good deals on the secondary market - those are all excellent buys for the price!

For sure! I was buying from the first signs of this hitting the market. Long term hold is the best for this for sure.

Now that we have confirmation of sizeable drops of retail formats hitting/to come, it makes the sets and getting those at nice prices that much sweeter.

Nothing makes sense with Target. It's all YMMV. I was able to get it through the app on the blasters but struck out on the website while you had the opposite experience.

Of course this all happened right after my previous StockX bids for some hangers and blasters got accepted, and I bought some cellos on eBay last night because I didn’t know if this stuff was ever going live on Target. I think so far in the last 12 hours between Target, StockX, and eBay I’ve gotten:

7 cellos - eBay (avg. $26.50 per)
3 megas - Target (SRP)
6 blasters - Target (applied Circle credit and paid $100 for all 6)
4 blasters - StockX (avg. $65 each, probably overpaid)
6 hangers - StockX (avg. $44 each, may have overpaid a bit here too)

All in all, not a bad day. I think I can call it quits if I manage to snag some cellos for SRP as well.

Nice... I pulled the trigger on some pulsar packs @$68 each over the weekend with the mindset that I wouldn't have a chance at any more of the retail formats. Lo and behold I was able to snag some blasters and megas today, haha.

Probably wouldn't have bought the packs had I known I'd have success today, but still happy with the price point seeing they're definitely trending upward.

This. Very much this. The sets are and were exactly like the Optic set drops. the cardcollectorrs of the world panicked and fear mongered, while everyone who was here last year knew what was going to happen.

You definitely got a good price on those pulsar packs - those are a solid long-term hold and will probably hit $150+ in the not too distant future.
