It just occurred to me: the set is called "The First 36," but it has Ford cuts even though he's #38. There really shouldn't be any post-LBJ presidents at all.

I think Ford is just part of the dual autos & I believe they stated that in the sell sheet.

Yeah Clinton, Bush, and Reagan are on some duals too.

Yeah the sell sheet says
"There are dual autograph cards, each featuring one of the first 36 Presidents alongside a more modern POTUS"

After looking at eBay listings I have to say that these base cards are some of the ugliest damn collectibles I've ever seen. Just nasty.

This set should give anyone thinking about making your own card set the confidence to do it. The bar is quite low apparently.

Another dual, maybe the worst yet. Just wow. I hope to see some more good cuts like the Taylor above. This product has/had great potential.

When they call them cuts they ain't kidding!

I have a Red Grange from the 1969 set that they cut and stacked to fit on the 2.5x3.5" card size. With an oversized product, there is NO excuse for them to do this.

It's funny to think that Historic Autographs once took the piss out of The Bar Pieces of the Past...then they have the audacity to compete directly in the garbage department.

Seriously, this is where the hobby has devolved.

Embarrassing.

Well, if people would stop spending money on this stuff...

It's sad that really great nonsports sets like Firefly, Steven Universe, etc. end up clearanced out while this stuff gets made year after year.
