Yeah really not sure how I feel about the cash out system, but the fact that a ton of money is stuck in their system for the next 6-8 weeks means that whether this thing is here to stay or not that the show is going to go on for another 6+ weeks.

I think it has gone a bit over the peak right now, I have cashed out my big cards, and leaving the other 40 moments I have to see what happens. To me, they seem to have a good business plan as they are now trying to arrange an agreement to China. If this happens, I think this will totally explode again. That market for this kind of NBA product could be amazing. There are some big buyers already and I could see this getting to a new level. That being said I am very happy to take my profits off my $450 investment last fall and maybe by myself a very nice 86 Fleer Jordan

I mean you are essentially bumping and pumping this thread to try and entice other people into topshot. This also isn't tracking your journey, you're trying to make it seem like it's free and easy money.

I am never surprised by the suckers out there. How is it not suspicious to people that everyone who talks about this platform talks about it from a standpoint of making money....and they all started talking about it at the same time and in the same way. People can't help themselves when they think money can be made -- even when they dont understand it.

My new hobby rule is that if these celebs who have fallen out of the sky like Adam Lekfoe or anyone Adam Lefkoe adjacent is talking about it, I don't want to be near it.

Anybody can go to the discord server and see what this is. You can see all the “sales” before they’re made. It actually is very transparent.

Create two accounts, sell to yourself at a ridiculous price, and hope to rope in a sucker who doesn’t understand what’s happening. They’ve roped in quite a few, and if you can tolerate the risk you can hope that some of the suckers also buy your cards.

I don't want to see people get screwed and lose money but I'm surprised BO Admins have allowed this to go on for so long. It's pretty clear that most older members on the boards can see through it.

just look at the topics on this forum alone, lots of things can go wrong with any type of money involved transaction.


It cost me less than a box of 2021 wax , way more fun. I have a few thousand invested in 2020 baskeball boxes in my storage, yeh what fun that is collecting dust.

You bring up money a lot, like A LOT. I remember there was another board member like that here a few years ago. Would always brag about money. Post photos of all their money. I know they got banned but I can't remember their name. Either way, the more I think about this thing, the more I don't like it. I like the idea of digital cards, mainly because you never have to worry about a return on a defect or some other nonsense reason. I just don't know if we are quite ready for it.

Kind of like how the Sega Dreamcast was ahead of its time by introducing online play but at a time when most people had dial-up. Right thinking, wrong time, wrong technology, wrong company.

well , you better start with group breaks, PSA, BGS, SGC , PWCC and the rest.

I have more money stuck in grading card limbo. No cards in hand, money in their companies account with them using it interest free. My registered mail that has not arrived .

so many things in this hobby that sucks. go fix all that first.

The difference between me an you is i actually use the service or product then make my decision.

you talking about the stock market? Everything is like that. Just have accept no investment is perfect. There is so much manipulation in investments of any type.

If you submit to BGS or PSA not knowing what you're getting into with fees and wait times, maybe this hobby isn't for you.

The fact you keep deflecting and bringing up other things that could be perceived as issues in the hobby says a lot as well.

I'm probably on the younger side of members here, I'm 33. I'm very open to a lot of current and future ideas, but Top Shot is not one of them. They don't actually offer anything and seem to use their BETA stage as a way to hold funds and extend wait periods.

You have a clear agenda. Nobody has flat out come onto this board and asked for you to bump, pump or document your "top shot journey", yet you still do it several times daily.

everyone in the other threads talk about how much, which player and all that . I rather work with factual accounts. This is one thing great with this NBAtopshot thing. You can trace each transaction. very interesting.

you post, i answer. simple. I have a lot invested in psa,bgs and cgc. That is why i came to this forum. The grade thread is the same topics over and over. i cannot control the turnaround times. then i seen this topic here on blowout "NBATOPSHOT" a couple weeks ago. I did not start this thread in Oct 2020. I found this here on Blowoutforums. Lucky i did. Made the hobby much more enjoyable.
