$10k before you know it. Entry price on eBay is $5.9k for a 9.5/9. I'm sure this Probstein PSA 10 will clear $8k.

Love this thread! So, like many people, I re-entered the baseball card hobby in 2020 after a long hiatus. I collected as a child in the 90s with my grandfather, he passed away due to covid complications in 2020 and as I reflected on our relationship I came across all of my cards and got back into the hobby.

One of the first purchases I made was a hobby box of stadium club (I live in Brooklyn, so I went to the MLB store in Manhattan where they allow you to purchase one box of each product... I think I chose the correct box that day). This was my largest hit out of the box and I'm not complaining!

My little Soto collection is small beans compared to what people have in this thread but love to show it off so here it goes!

1st Year Bowman Auto + Rookies

Pulled the "Smokey" Rainbow Foil and Topps 35th Gold to 50 out of a Jumbo Case back in December 2018.

2019 + 2020 Heritage Stuff

The Black Rookie Cup Refractor is definitely one of my favorite Soto cards

Random Low End 2020 Parallels

Nothing huge here, best being the Independence Day Parallel from 2020 Topps

Autos & Memorabilia Cards

I know relatively speaking not many are fans of Mem cards..but the Triple Patch from Tribute is absolutely stunning in person. Also love the Auto/Patch from Diamond Icons because you can trace the patch back to the game he used it in. Thought the Topps Magazine Auto was cool when those came out and I'm a sucker for Gold Refractors which is why I bought the Finest Auto

Rookie Cup Cards

And last but not least all my Rookie Cup Cards from Chrome and Topps and all the Variations. The first two non graded cards are the Rainbow Foil and Topps 3D if you can't tell from the pic

What a box of cards! If you’re gonna pull a card, that’s the card to pull! Congrats on pulling a monster! Love it! A lot has changed in the hobby. If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask. For the most part, everyone here is pretty chill. Some are trolls, but you learn to ignore them. Keep collecting, and I hope to see more fire from you!
