I know this is your narrative, and you're going to cling to this, but based on what I've seen this hasn't been printed more than any other product. I've only seen megas once (last weeks stock), and there has only been 1-2 sizeable restocks so far. Compared to, say, Mosaic and Chronicles, there could easily be less of this stuff printed.

I'm pretty pleased with the amount of this that has been stocked so far.

Everyone is biased based on what they find in stores, and they extrapolate that throughout the entire country. I’d say wait 2 years and then look at the pop reports, and then maybe we’ll have a better idea of what was printed more. Some bulk subs are taking 8+ months to finish, and people will be still be opening and submitting this stuff for at least the next few months.

In other Hoops news, I just opened the first Walmart mega I bought off eBay that just showed up, and it was a pretty loaded box. Nothing numbered or SSP and no autos, but I got Blue Cracked Ice of LeBron! Plus Garland, Reddish, and Gafford rookie Blue Cracked Ice. Silvers of Bazley and Dort. Greens of Bazley and Christian Wood. Base rookies of Herro, Barrett, and more. Ja Morant base Tribute. Oh, and this guy right here:

19' Prizm still wins by a mile. Until you start finding 60+ blasters, a dozen megas, multiple gravity feed boxes and two dozen cellos in one location this find won't even sniff that.

im basing my beliefs off these facts

1) I check same amount of stores every week and have hit restocks for every product this year.
2) my friends in a completely different state are seeing similar results
3) the ridiculous amounts of it on social media.

I have a massive amount of retail now. Much more than I ever thought I would find and much more than any other product this year. Again my routines remained the same. Was going just hold a few years but am really concerned about how much of there is and have started to move some of it

Sell it to me for under market and I’ll take it off your hands if you’re that concerned about over-printing. (Just joking mods - I am not buying wax on BO!). That’s great that you and your friends were able to find so much. Your personal experiences (and what’s being posted on social media) are not necessarily indicative of overall print runs. Again, it’s been like 6 weeks of restocks maybe? Demand is high, the cards are great, and these will go up over time. Feel free to go ahead and flip now if you’re worried. If you bought it all at SRP you’ll still make plenty of money.

Also with that prices this week on the secondary market are not lower then the last 2 weeks....so we probably have seen the bottom of the prices for now if not forever

I talked to a rep once and although my 1 target has pretty much stopped stocking sports cards, she told me high volume stores get much more volume of product and restocks. Some of us in rural America just live in the wrong place for cards, but the right place for quality of life. Congrats and when Prizm came out it was way more plentiful around me but I have 5 Walmart’s to choose from but only 1 Target.

Also as far as stocking goes people need to realize A LOT of Walmarts stopped selling cards all together at some point. 3 of them around me do not stock cards anymore and they stopped in like September. So all that stock MJ was sending to Walmarts like the ones around me I would assume go to other Walmarts in other parts of the country hence why some people see such big stocks

I am afraid we will see more Walmart’s doing this because unfortunately not all the “flippers” are professional. It is not worth it to them when confrontations happen because of Sportscards. The fact people have been banned from some stores tell you it is a problem. My budget does not merit my buying out full stocks, not that I want to. I buy what I want to open, but that now is much smaller.

Very nice purchase! I did the same thing and bought a lot of 4 for $202 last week, so $200 is an awesome price. I also just won a couple more auctions off eBay from the same seller, and for some reason nobody bid these up any higher. Got 4 cellos for $85 and 2 more hangers for $71, both with free shipping.

On a different note, anybody looking to complete the base set? I’ve opened a bunch but I’m still missing 23 cards. Out of those 23, I still need Luka, Ja base RC, Romeo Langford RC, and Coby White Tribute. The other 19 cards are all vets. I have plenty of doubles and triples (plus inserts and color parallels) to trade if anyone else is looking to complete their set.
