It's never bothered me personally, as I never really look at the cards. I understand it bothering collectors though. Has anyone had one sleeved and if so did it solve the problem?

My pickups this week. Huuuuge thanks to member deansayso on the Flawless. Drove four hours to my town to do the deal! Easy negotiation and nice dude in person. Holding that for a while for sure. The silver I bought for shiggles.

What I wouldn’t give to have it in a PSA 10. Bought it raw back in fall of 2018 because I didn’t want to pay the extra $200 for the PSA 10. Wish I had that decision back!

Good luck with the sale, can’t wait to see what it goes for.

Thank you! Hit in a break in 2018 and I graded it in 2020.

To me the 2017 immaculate is hugely undervalued. On card auto RPA, and its from a high end expensive product. Immaculate is huge in basketball and a lot of those type of trends tend to cross from sport to sport. Whats an NT rpa /99, $170,000 ? Immaculate RPA /99- $8,000 ? Thats over 20-1 difference, no way it should be that big. But hey thats just my 2 cents.

Why is Immaculate huge in basketball? Do they use game used patches or is more care put into the design of the set leading to better condition? I know Flawless (at least I think I know) basketball uses GU patches, so I can see the appeal there, is it the same for Immaculate?

thats a good question, I know people really like the acetate in immaculate in basketball, maybe it was game used in the beginning as well. Immaculate has some huge prices in basketball, I am not saying I would rather have the mahomes immaculate than the NT, but 20-1 ??? I would think more like 5-1 would be closer, but I guess everyone disagrees with me.

If you think it could get to 5-1 then that should be an opportunity for you. I disagree, but I also can't believe the prices Flawless RPAs (that aren't even part of the set) are getting. They weren't always so high, so maybe something like Immaculate eventually gets up there as well. Again, I personally would bet against it, but there are so many people collecting now, you only need to get a few people with a lot of money to agree with your take and BOOM, new price increase. I feel like the Flawless push had to be people from basketball going "Hey this came out of a $1000 box and is Flawless, it should be worth more!" Maybe the same things happens with Immaculate. I'm not a fan of either product as they haven't really been popular in football, but again, things can change. I think certain things will always have value in football, even if the basketball people disappear one day, so I tend to gravitate more toward that stuff personally. If you really like Immaculate and think it has a chance to blow up, I'd encourage you to go for it.

I agree with pretty much everything you said, pretty much people gravitated to flawless bc of basketball I think. I somewhat see the same thing happening to immaculate, but you are right it might not ever happen, or a few big money guys like it and it drags the price up like you said. I could be wrong but I think what ends up happening is people cant afford NT and they will very quickly look to immaculate, assuming mahomes wins the superbowl on sunday. But maybe you are right and it never catches on big.

Biggest reason I don’t own an immaculate myself is the condition is absolutely brutal. If I’m not mistaken, 2017 is not acetate but paper/cardboard which led to the issues. I love the newer acetate immac.

I never thought Flawless would have some of the crazy sales that it's had, so I've definitely been wrong, I'll be happy to be wrong again if it means more valuable Patty for everyone. Flawless does grade better than Immaculate though, Immaculate is pretty rough for the most part. You could have had the Immaculate Swoosh Patty for under $20k (I think it went around $15?) in August as it was probably in PSA 6-7 shape. The NFL Shield Immaculate RPA is a PSA 8.

yeah the condition is tough, I need to try to find a 9/10. Even that would be a miracle, but it would probably be pretty sought after

What is this “set” you speak of. Find me a better looking rpa than the flawless...

Bangin cards.
If you were carrying cash on the drive over that must have been a nervy ride.
