First off, he's not a center.

Second, I wouldn't worry too much about what the Hawks front office is doing. Remember, they're the ones who decided on Trae and a pick over Luka. He's only being shopped because they don't want to pay him, which has more to do with them blowing 9 figures on Gallo / Bogey / Rondo than anything to do with Collins. It's a nice "buy low" scenario IMO. He's a perfect roll man in the modern game because he can shoot 3s at a high clip or finish really well.

I'd take a chance at Collins for $20M something per year. If you look at the 2021 FA market there aren't many options available. That's the most important thing. Not many choices available.

You either twiddle your thumbs like Cuban and Donny are doing hoping they magically turn into a top 3 team or you make a move.

He may not be a very good defender but neither are the guys they've got now. What he is good at is scoring inside, slamming lobs, rebounding and shooting 39% from 3 over the last 2 years. His 3% goes up even higher on open look 3's which is a Luka specialty for his teammates.

With how well some of the Euro guys have made an impact in the NBA over the last several years i wonder if there's anyone they could find overseas? I don't know enough about those guys but i wonder is there's some wily vet they could bring in. They need a scout mining those guys for an untapped gem.

Ask Luka he probably knows. He was saying that 5'-10''guy for the Nuggets 30 year old Campazzo was really good about 2 months ago and guess what he's right. He's averaging 14 PPG and shooting 50% from 3 since playing 25+ mins over the last 5 games.

I'm not counting on it, but I'd love to see kawhi opt out and sign a 2-3 year deal with Dallas. Add him and someone who's not scared to rebound, instant contender.
