I've been reducing my non-unopened collection over the last year now. Trying to get down to 10 cards and I'm down to the cream of the crop stuff. I was wondering if or when you decided to use an auction house? I've only heard of Goldin but did not see commission rates. Are these case by case depending on the estimated value?
The cards in question are some bigger Tatis items with some probably going over 10K ore more. I'm leaning towards using an auction house simply because of the amounts involved but if they are not cheaper, do they truly bring additional eyes over eBay for items like this? Some of the cards involved: 19 Chrome Autograph Orange /25 PSA 10 19 Chrome Blue Refractor /150 PSA 10 19 Bowman Sterling Red /5 PSA 10 2x Series 2 gold PSA 10s, Foilboard PSA 9 These are being graded now: 19 Chrome Orange Wave /25 19 Chrome Orange /25 19 Sapphire Base This will probably take one of the 10 spots but I have no idea how to value it. If I keep it, I don't need it graded, but safer to sell that way: 19 Update '84 Superfractor. Aside from the 19 Update '84 (still deciding), I have every intention of selling the rest, and was just wondering if you'd send these to auction house or do it yourself? |
