My best from a dollar amount is in 2018 I paid $30,000/raw Leaf Brady rookie /350 for a raw Brady Championship Ticket and since then he has won 2 more Super Bowls I was lucky to get in when I did.

You're right, it was 500 per box, I think I got the cases around 1300. I get a little depressed every time I think about it.

I pulled some.nice stuff but no mj, lebron or kobe's which I was hoping for. I did pull a D. Wade rpa #/99 with a nice 3 color patch, a Bird number pieces auto #/33, dr j 3 color auto patch #/100, a nasty AI quad patch with a logo patch, nasty Fteve Francis quad with a super nast patch. It was fun for sure but I wish I would have stuck with the original plan. I had a bad addiction to busting wax back then.

This right here really puts in perspective how crazy the collectible market is right now. $2500 investment turning into a million in a few years is crazy.

I'm not someone to buy/sell too much, tend to keep my cards, but I bought 8 Bill Russell Autos between 2013-2014 - All between $40-$75 each, and all have at least 10X in value since. Specifically, Bought (2) National Treasures 12-13 Champions Auto /25 of Russell for $75 each (was redemption) & I'm sure each is worth between $1000-$1500 now based off comparable card sales.

I also have a few Lebron/Durant cards like 03-04 Redemption Special Lebron, 07-08 Topps Durant, etc. that I picked up for a couple dollars pretty sure. And they're worth a couple hundred now, at least graded (at PSA now).

But my best "investment" will be grabbing an 03 Exquisite Base Kobe again recently after selling one off..

I fail to see how 03 Exquisite will not going effing wild at some stage.

I bought a baseball lot on here years back for $50 that had a Trout Bowman Chrome rookie and Topps Finest rookie. Sold the other cards in the lot for more than $50 Since then, so I got the 2 Trout rookies for free.

I bought Jordan takeit2net /1000 raw for $450 in 2017. Sent it in for grading for a total cost of $478 - came back psa10. Flipped it for $10k last yr which is probably a bad sell but the profit was too hard to pass up.

Still got jordan scoring kings psa10 that I paid $575 in 2017. Will keep holding this gem

I bought every Marvin Miller 1994 upper deck card possible prior to the announcement of his induction- had a few hundred that I bought from $0.18 to $6.00. I had the entire market when the announcement was made; sold a chunk at $15; another chunk at $25; $35; $45; $55 and $75 (slowly raised prices/had multiple listings). I have like 2 singles left and it’s back to a $1-3 card but it was fun for a couple weeks

I bought a Yao Ming 2002-03 topps chrome refractor (ungraded - wasn't sure if it was worth grading) for about $40 around a year and a half ago because I collect 2002-03 and 2003-04 topps chrome. I sold it a couple months ago for about $540.

I bought a 2002-03 topps finest Kobe Bryant refractor/250 for $47 a few years ago because I am building the 2002-03 finest refractor set and now it is going for around a few thousand dollars, I believe.

I don't generally collect to invest though I have started to do so a little recently. I generally keep my cards unless I need $ or think about quitting the 'hobby'. I sold many of my most valuable cards a few years ago and unfortunately most of those cards are now 10X or more what I sold them for.

I was just about to post my largest % increase and it is also from a raw Yao TC Chinese refractor. I thought his TC Chinese refractors were super underrated so I bought all that I could (3) in 2016/17 - I bought 2 raw ($5/20) and one BGS 9 ($150). They came back from PSA - one 9, two 10's.

I just sold the 9 and one of the 10's through PWCC last month. One of the PSA 10's was the $5 raw purchase:

$5 raw ----> $10,475 PSA 10

That's a 209,400% increase, lol.
